There was a Keanu Reeves interview with Greg Ferguson, where he let his guest choose a fruit at the end. And Kiwanu was one of those fruits which Keanu could choose. It is pretty funny.
Yeah it’s high cost..until you get yourself a few gardening supplies and plant a few kiwano plants in your garden every day from the last day of winter to the first day of summer.
Misleading content on the part of eating. We in Africa and many other regions of the world where this fruit has been introduced we eat the inside of this fruit together with seeds just like an ordinary Cucumber.
Mine taste like nothing, it’s bland in flavor, it does dry your mouth like a banana would, I was told it was ripe and it did peel quite easily but once peeled the flesh looked more of a clear yellow color not green

I really hope the CDC doesn't start telling us these can kill us. LOL

Can we eat it while it's green?
Absolutely. It's crazy and wasteful to try to separate and discard the seeds.
It looks very exotic, but it's somewhat tasteless. Extremely expensive in Puerto Rico, $11.00 for one

Most southern African fruits are seedy, seems like Americans don't like being disturbed by seeds when eating their fruit 🥴
Idk what this is but found it and definitely going try this one day
