The W1 looks like a cleaner version of the rimac. I see model 3, audi r8, even the artura in there. It's a very simple, safe and minimal design that will age well. Look at the F1, super basic design lines, allowing it to still look good to this day.
It’s definitely amazing, but it doesn’t blow my socks off like the new Bugatti .. and I’m not a huge Bugatti fan, but the Bugatti really has pushed the envelope for design and everything
Is it hypercar? Yes. Is it 720s with a custom bodykit? Kinda. Agree with many, there is plenty option now for hypercar around 2milion range so you need to be carefull for investment. I might stick with my old toyota
Hypercar performance with the look of of a mass production supercar. You can't be paying 2+ millions for a generic looking car, it's a hard pill to swallow.

F1 is all time GOAT. P1 is again GOAT of the era, very special, looks like a dream even today, after 10+ years. W1 already looks washed, with a Rimac front end. Cool doors and drive train, not sure it's going to be enough.

I actually like the w1 in that spec. P1 is the best looking McLaren ever made without a doubt but that doesn't mean w1 is ugly. IMO w1 is beautiful. Especially the side profile, rear and front side view when the doors opened

I agree about the front. I would've changed quite a bit. Theres too many separate lines/pieces for the lower carbon section. And I would've liked to see more swooping curves/angles from the fenders to hood area, front end in general, & with the headlights. The hood's too flat, nose is too sharp etc. But I love the interior.. better than the p1's odd dash & doors. And the rear is pretty awesome. I also dont love the roofline/windshield/canopy.. its too much like the akward Aston Valhalla's shape.. opposed to the teardrop shape of the P1. But I respect it, respect keeping & pushing the TT v8, rwd platform further👍
The W1 has incredible Numbers. The Front is a Mix of an Sf90 and Nevera which is Not Bad. I like the Design a lot tbh. The only thing i dont really like and doesnt really fit to the car are the Seats.

This looks like a 720s with a bodykit, they could have gone something totally different like a W for headlight or tail lights, the doors and wing are the only two outstanding options as for performance the new corvette ZR1 is faster , cheaper and can be modded, they should have set the bar at 1400hp or higher for a hypercar imo. All other brands like F5 or Remac or koni are 1500hp++
I've seen it from every angle now and it looks like modern mclaren supercars doesn't look like 2.5 mil car, so aggressive design and too many aggressive cuts, i have to say it is disappointing

I terms of design I think this car fits perfectly with the F1 and P1. You can tell it is a successor to those legendary cars. I am curious how this car performs on the track and also what the Nordschleife lap time will be.
If you can run it thru MSO and get something custom or one off maybe its worth it to you. I think even a fully option one might be super cool but this just isn't jumping out like the P1 did. You have a few different cars coming out or already are out and they blow the W1 out of the water.

I think the rear of the P1 is the best looking rear on any car in my opinion. I think the W1 looks ok just need to see it in person to judge it fair.
