If Demidov and Lindstrom are still available at #5, I'm happy with either pick. Leaning Demidov a little bit though, he looks like he might become a star player.
How does the NHL allow the Capitals to buy CapFriendly?? Going dark does not equate to inactive. They could maintain it,internally and use that info for negotiations. Am I going too far??
Montreal appears to be all in on Lindstrom but will surely be gone top4...As last year, they wanted Smith but ended up with Reinbacher which was a very safe pick. If Lindstrom is already taken, then they will likely go for Iginla who is another safe pick instead of Demidov which might possibly be seen as a gamble due to the russian factor.
How do we know demidov is the ferrari when he has never raced on the big boy track? Take lindstrom or Tij with more certainty competing against stronger competition in north america
Watching the playoffs and picturing any small player no matter their skill level thriving when the rules change in April seems like a big reach
Scott with some wishful thinking that the blackhawks arent taking Demidov... Laura is 100% right, Chicago is taking the winger.

Lindstrom might be the best player available even if Demidov is available
Rip cap friendly, you will be missed, already alternate options but you can bet there'll be more now

You are so wrong. Ivan Demidov plays against feeble competition in his league. The Russian player fetish is misguided.
