Rabat, una Ciudad Moderna e Histórica.
Rabat es la Capital del Reino de Marruecos, y de la región Rabat-Salé-Kenitra. Está situada en la costa del Océano Atlántico, en la orilla sur de la desembocadura del río Bu Regreg. Una población de más de 1,6 millones de habitantes convierte a Rabat en la segunda ciudad más grande de Marruecos después de Casablanca. Rabat con una historia milenaria comenzó con un asentamiento conocido como Chellah a orillas del río Bu Regreg. En el año 40 d.C. los romanos se apoderaron de Chellah para hacer un Asentamiento Romano y la conservaron hasta el año 250 d.C. Con sus murallas fortificadas y su ubicación en la desembocadura del río Bu Regreg, Rabat tuvo un papel importante durante los 800 años de ocupación de España por los Moros.
El domingo 5 de junio del 2022, los aficionados marroquíes al atletismo dieron la bienvenida una vez más a algunos de los mejores atletas de este deporte en el Estadio Príncipe Moulay Abadellah, para el Meeting International Mohammed Vl d'Athletisme de Rabat.
La Prestigiosa Competición de Atletismo rinde homenaje a Mohammed VI, el Monarca Reinante de Marruecos.
El Corredor de Obstaculos Soufiane El Bakkali, un Heroe Local es una fuerza a tener en cuenta. El Bakkali es el Vigente Campeón Olímpico en la Disciplina, esa noche en Rabat, estuvo bajo presión para lograr una victoria convincente en frente de su fanático publico. Los principales oponentes de Bakkali son Kenianos y Etíopes, competidores de países donde las carreras de media y larga distancia son el deporte nacional y una orgullosa y legendaria historia en esos eventos.

Rabat is the Capital of the Kingdom of Morocco, and of the Region Rabat-Salé-Kenitra. It is located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, on the southern shore of the river Bu Regreg. A population of over 1.6 million inhabitants makes Rabat the second-largest city in Morocco after Casablanca. Rabat, a city with a millenary history started as a settlement known as Chellah on the shores of the river Bu Regreg . On Sunday, June 5, 2022, the Moroccan Track & Field fans once more welcomed some of the top athletes in the sport to Rabat's Prince Moulay Abadellah Stadium, for the annual Meeting International Mohammed Vl d'Athletisme de Rabat.

Steeple Chaser Soufiane El BAkkali, is a local hero, and a Force to be Reckoned with. El Bakkali is the Reigning Olympic Champion in the Discipline, that evening in Rabat, he's is under pressure to come up with a convincing win in front of his adoring fans. Bakkali's major opponents are Kenyans and Ethiopians, competitors from countries where middle and long-distance running is the national sport and a proud and legendary history in those events.
