Omgggg, I'm so happy for you Yemisi. Have been watching you since I was in Nigeria and now I am completing my studies in Canada on Friday this week. I'm so happy for your growth, I tap into your grace as I complete school this week and begin my own journey towards getting my PR. Thanks for always carrying us along. You're rocking your new Canadian status girlie🤩
The medical i had from back home, i saw it on IRCC portal that if i have it i can use it ( my was not up front they asked for the IMM no) when i was applying for my work permit , it was aspected if not there will be clue on my permit, my friend that applied for his PR used the same it. Guys should pay attention so we dont waste money to go and do some requirement that has been wavied. Thanks for mentioning the police link, will make use of it soon. Congratulations on your PR mine is on the way also🎉. Alagomeji girls are winning 😅❤🎉
Congratulations Yemisi. 🎉 Possap is for both those in Nigeria and in diaspora. The only difference is that those in Nigeria have to go to the station for biometrics and might be required to pay extra free. But , they’ll get it the same day or next. Will be in Canada soon by God’s grace, currently applying for PR. Wish you all the best.
You’re right, thanks for flagging....I thought I put up a note on the screen. It’s for all Nigerians but what I meant was when you choose for diaspora, that part indicates countries and everything there refers to Nigerians in diaspora. I pray God grants your desire.🙏
Congratulations Yemisi, I have been following your journey for a while too even from Instagram, so so so happy for you. Can you do a video of how your career path looks like after an MPA? What kind of jobs can one get, and if you are comfortable sharing your field too and how you got there, please do. Thanks
@Ms_Yemisi congratulations 🥳🥳🥳 I have some quick questions. I’m just curious about the biometric I thought the one we did for the study permit is valid for 10years but you had to do another one for PR? And also, did you use the Federal skilled worker route or CEC and you mentioned doing a police report from Nigeria and not Canada
@ I just completed my masters as well but haven’t gotten a job in my field of study yet but I have like 2 years work experience as a Customer Service representative but that is in NOC tier 4😫😫 so I’m thinking of using the federal route as I have about 3 years work experience from Ghana
Congratulations @MsYemisi By the way, thanks for all the inspiring and highly motivating/informative talks you bring up on your channel. Quick question: Please, after you did the police report, did you do the "VERIFICATION" of the police report with the Nigerian consular in Ottawa or you just upload the document sent to you from Nigeria as it is? Looking forward to your reply. Thank you.
Hi yemisi congrats on ur PR. Pls for someone inside Canada that lost her Nigerian international passport but still have a digital copy of her passport data page, will the physical copy be requested by IRCC at anytime during the PR application process or even after approval?
Hi. Thank you for this video and congratulations to you🎉🎉🎉. I would like to ask, why did you have to do a police report from Nigeria since you’ve been living in Canada Thank you
Congratulations. With regards to the fees, there's a C$50 amount for PR Card too; I'm sure you are yet to pay that if you've not already done that considering it's your 2nd Month as a PR.
hi Yemisi, I love your video so much! Can you give us a breakdown of your 500+ points, I tried to calculate it myself but I don't think I'm doing it right. Thank you so much and congratulations!
Hello, Your job, work experience, age, education, degree in Canada, working in Canada etc sums up to your CRS point so it’s not a must for two people to have the same thing if they have different circumstance If that’s what you’re asking.
Hi sis, please when applying do I have to upload my paystubs and offer letter of where I worked in Nigeria before moving to Canada, and also is the province of Saskatchewan not giving pnp any longer,? Because I was expecting you to mention that, knowing fully well that you schooled there🎉
Everywhere you worked and claimed points for..I mentioned that in the video. I didn’t apply for SK PNP, I only mentioned the route I took to get my PR in this video.
Can I open my express entry in my second year of studies or I have to finish to get my other certificate before? Can I also write the celpip and Wes evaluation even before I complete my last year of studies ? Is there anything I can do right now to avoid delays for me
Congratulations Yemisi. You mentioned Biometric update during your PR application. I thought Biometrics is valid for 10 years and you would have done one when applying for your study permit?
Congratulations! When you said paystubs, did you upload payslip of where you have worked back in Nigeria? For instance, lets say you worked for 2years in Nigeria, did you upload all the 24months payslip?
@@MsYemisi Many thanks! Please, do you mind listing all documents you submitted for your application. I want to put mine documents together and be ready for the golden email. Also, when you said upfront medical, did you mean doing an upfront medical here in Canada? My first thought was that you were referring to the medical you did in Nigeria before coming here. But on a second thought, I was like is medical result not only for one year. Thank you for your time clarifying these.
Confirmation of documents, history in other countries especially where they share same database etc. I think you’d see a full information on that on cic.ca
Hi Yemisi congratulations 🎈 can you tell me you got 533 can you details how because time also I am really confuse since some people have done the same thing as you, like study and work but don’t enough point for the cec,
Like I explained in the video, different factors in the CRS breakdown contributes to that. For example, I studied here and have a masters, those points also count.
Congratulations 🎉. Please can you share the links to the channel that helped you prepare for CELPIP. Also, did you claim work experience from Nigeria, if yes, did it have to be the same NOC as your Canadian experience. Thank you, as I await your responses.
Please like this video. It’s your way of supporting me.

Hi. Thank you for this video and congratulations to you🎉🎉🎉. I would like to ask, why did you have to do a police report from Nigeria since you’ve been living in Canada
Thank you
It was a requirement.
Congratulations Yemisi🎉🎉
You said paystub from everywhere you worked, do you mean everywhere since you entered Canada and offer letter?
For every work experience home and abroad that you claimed points for.
Now I get it. If you don’t include them in your application, you don’t need to provide them.
Thank you

Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️💐🥳. My question. I thought our biometric is valid for 10 years
Unfortunately, IRCC introduced biometric request again since 2023.

It doesn’t.

Do we actually need to have a full time employment before we can apply or we need a year experience either full time or part time
Congratulations Yemisi. You mentioned Biometric update during your PR application. I thought Biometrics is valid for 10 years and you would have done one when applying for your study permit?
They requested again.
It's not the case for PR application. The one done for study is for temporary residence.
Congratulations 🎊
🥰🥰
congratulation.
do you mean upfront medical used for study visa is valid for more than one year?
Yeah.
Yes
Whether upfront or not.
If it's within five years, then you are good.
Congratulations 🎉
Thank you!
Congratulations! When you said paystubs, did you upload payslip of where you have worked back in Nigeria? For instance, lets say you worked for 2years in Nigeria, did you upload all the 24months payslip?
4-6 months pay slips of each work experience is enough.
