This lore in AOS actually gives so much more weight to Hydra than Captain America TFA ever could. It just seemed like a warring nazi faction the Red Skull formed at first, but seeing the age-old cult and Alvis himself makes Hydra so real and almost alluring to join. That is if he wasn't out for world destruction.
This was an Incredible Masterpiece for My All Time Favorite Antagonist’s from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D (2013 - 2020). Brett Dalton Truly was Incredible Actor bringing Alevus/Hive The True Head and Leader of Hydra to Life.
Hive is one of my favorite villains in the series. I have this theory that Hive has a son who has been out of the picture for a thousand or so years who has been looking for him even since his banishment to Maveth. I'd name the character Gabor, and he would be portrayed by Brody Stoller.
