Definitely why they used it again in Season 5, I think twice? Its partially a Coulson theme, for when he must do something related to a dark introspection (revenge, regrets, etc). Its the sort of 'we were bright and idealistic agents, but we have to be something else, will who we are survive this?' thing, with the answer of 'yes we must' as the track is more positive, while somber at the end.
The tone of this track perfectly represents the emotional conflict of the scene from 3x10. One one hand the swelling brass and percussive drive make me feel relieved and empowered seeing the team all back together and out of the portal and embracing each other, but on the other hand, the slow strings make me feel a strange sadness, emptiness, and sense of loss as Grant Ward, a character we’ve had from the beginning, full of conflict, who I could never bring myself to see as truly evil, died. Grant Ward is gone. It’s an amazing piece.
It's borderline criminal that they know every fan is all over this specific track and they haven't released it yet! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR C'MON MAN TAKE OUR DAMN MONEY!
Honestly this is unbelievable, it literally sounds like it came right from an official album and considering how it looks like we will never get an official release of the soundtracks after season 2 I am so appreciative that you've done these. Thanks so much.
Soundtrack Nerdist you have no idea how amazing it is to have these isolated soundtracks and I know it’s incredibly hard to do so. genuinely, thank you for your hard work on these videos
Damn it, I'm crying again. I'm still at the depression stage of the grieving process and Bear's music just keep bringing up the tears. Especially pieces like these...
@@Sammy-li4ez Kind of. They were clearly rushed, being only 13 episodes long, rather than the previous seasons of 22 each. Not to mention that the plots of 6 and 7 were not as fleshed out as previous ones (mostly due to the shortened season lengths). Overall, the last two seasons could have easily been combined into one sixth season. Marvel TV was obviously getting tired of the show by season five, and it shows in the next two. What a shame.
Absolutely CRIMINAL that this isn't officially released!! Having said that, your work on cleaning this piece is phenomenal! I keep going back to it every so often. One of my all-time favorite tracks of any film\TV show\video game.
This is the best damn thing. Your hard work, effort and dedication... oh man, I cannot even tell you how much it means to me that you edited all these tracks. I put all 28 of them on a CD and listen to them in my car and it makes me so happy and emotional and grateful for your existence and decision to do this for us.
Finally a completely cleaned up version of the track no "DO IT MAY!", missiles firing, wards chest getting crushed, Thanks for cleaning this up, I doubt we will get another soundtrack release.
@@TheTurbanator123 this shows hydra theme is better than movie hydra theme tho, however both aren't that easily available freely with just the music and not movie sounds

I added the download link to this new version in the description, enjoy.
i don't think i heard a music that contains the whole feel of the show. This is it. This is perfection.

Sacrifice
They brought this back in the most epic way possible for 100th episode. I had tears rolling down my eyes when you know who showed up
yeah, my favorite reactors all squealed at that shot.
Same! I was so happy to see Davis alive, thinking he was killed by Aida
Alvin came in the body of Aida.
Wot?
@@Triptych229pretty sure they meant actual mike showing up since we hadn’t seen him since season 2.

Goodbye Agents of SHIELD. 5 seasons went so fast. You will be missed.
About that...
season 6 and 7: Am i a joke to you?

Listening to this again. Just amazing. Bear outdid himself. And while it's sad there won't be an official release, but this is a damn good fallback!

00:00-01:20 This part sends shivers down my spine. Quite emotional.
probably one of the best soundtrack ever made. Congrats you did an amazing work!
amazing work. i agree, the best single track the show has to offer.
I don't know, Daisy's theme is pretty good
I like this more than the avengers theme but not more than the winter soldier end credits scene

Good work!!
Thank You ♥
Holy shit this is too good!
Unbelievable
THEY USED IT AGAIN
R.I.P Ward. Probably the best and worst character the show could ever get.

if you listen closely to the near-end of this song, you can hear a woman humming. what kind of genre would you call this kind of music?
I’m assuming all the artwork is from Marvel? Or did you create it?
It was promotion for the show.
