- The infamous Don Dale Youth Detention Centre in Darwin was set to be shut down years ago after a Royal Commission said it should close as soon as possible. But it's still open. Ben Abbatangelo investigates why that is the case.

Yep, these detention centres need big screen tvs with fully recline-able lounges, fully equipped gyms, indoor swimming pools, no rules, no consequences for violent behaviour, no locks on doors, cells should be 3 rooms, with proper en-suites, daily excursions, a la carte menus every night..... Now that's the only way we will end recidivism!
Why are the little, innocent darlings in their for? They must have done something to warrant a stint in the can.
