Grew up with this fantastic album. Always liked this song, but one day (after a deep relationship ended) I cranked this song and finally heard it: David's sigh at the very end. It makes this powerful song reach down into your soul and really FEEL it.
From the same album, you will like Lay Down, Stay Down and the title track Burn which is 🔥. Great reaction. Nice to see you disgrossted. It’s been awhile!
Great track off of Burn. The first album with the new lineup. David Coverdale on vocals and Glenn Hughes on bass/vocals. Coverdale would later front Whitesnake but was basically unknown when he joined Purple - a really famous band, although the band was familiar with him. He did a hell of a job, great album.
You liked the guitar sir...welcome to the world of Mr Ritchie Blackmore, the the greatest guitarist to come out of the UK since...na he's just the greatest!
I really liked your reaction to Deep Purple Live in Bilzen !969. This is a very good reaction also. This band rocks. You should hear Biackmore when they did this song at the California Jam 1974. He really has his guitar weeping insanely.
I love Coverdale as a singer it's amazing on that album and on all the music with Whitesnake, but THE VOICE of Purple, for me, it would be allways Ian Gillan! Thank You!
If you enjoyed this check out the live performance of it from the California Jam (1974). Other Deep Purple I think you will enjoy are Lazy (Live 1972) and Child In Time (Live 1970) both are amazing performances that also show just how versatile this band was.
hey man, you're on a roll "Stranglehold" followed by "Mistreated". You're talking my language. Vocalist reminds me of Steve Marriott of Humble Pie......Another great reaction..........
I enjoy ..most of your REACTIONS.. but I am not gonna lie ..THE TOOL ARMY ...is itching for your next installment..keep on keeping on my man .. Not to take away from one of the most influential bands this century DEEP PURPLE is a great band ..but not my 🍵

We all have our favorite bands and favorite songs, and bands and songs that, at best, don't excite our muse all that much, or that, at worst, we can't stand. Regardless of genre.
💯 I flat-out LOVED Deep Purple
"back in the day"! I STILL DO! 🔥
I love this album, and Mistreated is a great track. Glad to see that you enjoyed it!
I've been waiting for the reactors to finally get hip to this epic DP track
I liked this, I almost believed he's been mistreated without asking what he did to make her leave!

You need to watch the Live at California Jam 74 version. Off the hook.
Dirty sounds like he just drank a fifth of Jack and smoked 2 packs of Marlboro reds! I f#*%ing love it! 🔥🔥🔥
You'd like Rainbow's live version of this from their show in Germany...Dio kills it.
And Blackmore too.
You definitely have a rock fever...you know the rest. Still jousting for some Tommy Bolin...who became the guitarist for Deep Purple
You need to check out Pictures of Home. Their best stuff is with Ian Gillan on vocals.
