Such an amazing channel, hope you guys continue to grow. Love all the work you do. Currently rebuilding a 1993 integra I pulled out of a field and your videos help keep me motivated to keep working on it!
@@ValveHouseAU I am, I'm taking pictures every step of the way and writing down everything I touch on it. The car isn't missing a single bolt or trim piece and still had its original floor mats, got it for 300$ with clean title, engine and trans. Ill have to throw some pictures up somewhere and get you a link!
Sounds awesome ! Planning to do the same with my EJ8. Are those OEM weathersheilds? And do you know if you can use a del sol ECU with an EK4 engine or vice versa?
Oem weathershields. EK4 and Del Sol use pretty much the same ecu, as long as you get one that matches the motor you’re all good to go! Some ecu will require an immobiliser delete
Did you guys connect the reverse switch directly into the ek4 harness and ditched the wiring that connected to the body harness originally done with the d series manual swap?
hi mate such a good video and i am planning to do the same as well, running a D15 non-vtec(With air box on top one), may i ask what i need to complete with a B16 swap? Civic ek3 sedan with shxt D15B. all i know from my understanding will be Engine/ gearbox/ engine mount/ ECU/ Engine loom/ Shift linkage/ driveshaft/ exhaust header to muffler, but the thing is, do i need to look for the wiring loom that sit under the dashboard and will they needed to be swap as well? also what if i wanna keep the A/C system on my car, anything special or extra i need to look for? thanks again and wish u all the best with Vtec kick in all day long!! cheers
Sounds like you’ve got most sorted! You should be able to keep everything under your dash, as long as you get an ek b16 harness it should all plug and play! In this swap we used a CRV (B20B) AC bracket which allowed us to retain the stock ac system without losing the gas! That way all you need to do it bolt it up to the new engine and BOOM AC!
thanks mate for the reply and really helpful for me, as i got different information regarding wiring loom must be in OBD2 A version or somthing similiar, it makes me confuse and stop in here@@ValveHouseAU
Hit up Type R Spares (Sam Daftar) on Facebook, prices have come down quite a lot so I’d be getting one now if you can. Rego is simple as we got the engine registered to the chassis.
Definitely can, I'm about to pull the b16a3 out of my del sol vtec (usdm factory b series identical to a2) to put in my ek hatch. I believe the only difference is the trans t bracket, mounts, and shift linkage won't work on ek.
Great work! Super clean and love those Toda headers
Thanks for watching, I am also in love with the Toda headers, need some for my Integra haha

That’s awesome to hear, are you doing any documentation on it? I’d love to see it be saved! I love seeing them get a second chance.

Great work guys! The b16 is a great engine!
It sure is, such a blast to drive!
So good! Well done guys. Might need to hire you guys to do my swap haha
We’re always down to work on Hondas!
The intake sound is extremely fire
Intake sound is the best ever. No replacement
Awesome stuff!! I’ll be doing this same set up

Well done guys, you've all come a long way!
Thanks for following the channel, we've finally moved onto the more interesting stuff haha!
Nice video. I am watching you from Zapopan, Jalisco Mexico.
what is the hood gaurd thing i want it to protect the car from rock chips
Did you guys connect the reverse switch directly into the ek4 harness and ditched the wiring that connected to the body harness originally done with the d series manual swap?
Did you guys reuse all the D-Series motormounts except the rear one?
Love it boys good job!
Love this video

sick video! really entertaining thanks for sharing
Glad to hear!! Thanks for your support
What ac bracket did you use to keep the d series compressor??
The RD1 CRV bracket allows the D series compressor on the B series block
Thanks!!! Working on my b16a2 swap as we speak!!!
Big up bro, keep up the content
Thank you for your support!
How do you get on with rego. I’m in NSW too, Illawarra. What wreckers sells those engines & what price range. Tia
Hit up Type R Spares (Sam Daftar) on Facebook, prices have come down quite a lot so I’d be getting one now if you can. Rego is simple as we got the engine registered to the chassis.
What harness and ecu did you use ? Great job btw !!
The engine harness is the one that matches the engine (ek4 civic or delsol) and the ecu also matches the engine!
Can a Civic EK be swapped with a Del Sol Sir B16A2 engine?
Why not , you can even do b18 and b20
They certainly can, as mentioned you can even do b18/b20!
Definitely can, I'm about to pull the b16a3 out of my del sol vtec (usdm factory b series identical to a2) to put in my ek hatch. I believe the only difference is the trans t bracket, mounts, and shift linkage won't work on ek.
Did you completely swap the wire harness and ecu or modified the original d16 harness?
Swapped with B16 harness. Plugs into original D16 chassis harness
Which is better integra or ek b swap? Cost wise and performance?
Integra vs EK4 or EM1 are same for same pretty much, depends on what you like looking at most.
Beautiful engine bay
Cannot forget to tidy the engine bay!
which exhaust was it? you spoke a bit too fast for me to understand hah
It’s running a custom 2.5” catback exhaust from Toda headers
Where did you guys get the engine from? Looking for somewhere that sells B series engines
Depending on where you are located it varies. We have a wrecker who specialises in old Hondas so has most engines and parts readily available!
I've got a stock a b16a N/a can. I put a VTEC head on it?
B16a is already vtec, if you are talking about d16a or b18b there are options for both
What ecu did you guys use?
Stock EK4 ecu, I believe P2T
is the engine of an eg6?
From a Del Sol
cool man🎉
