    So it's basically either a gamble on which angles to use? Or alternatively working out every single possible answer and reinsert them to see if they equate to a set value like a or A? That's hella tedious. But okay. I guess I'd rather work with numbers than be broke later on.

    hi. Thanks for the great video. I'm just wondering however, do you reccomend where to find what formulas are provided and what you have to learn for the exam? (I'm learning it by myself to sit as an independent candidate so I'm not sure where to find these things).

      it depends on your exam board so you would search "a level maths specification" followed by the exam board e.g edexcel, aqa. that will show u a list of things you need for the exam as for the formulae its he same but swap out specification for formulae sheet

    can't you just do 180 - the sin answer and it gets you the same thing

      @@TLMaths I think he means when using the sine rule, if the angle obtained looks odd such as it being an acute angle when the diagram shows it should be obtuse, just do 180 - (the sine rule answer) for the other solution which is obtuse and fits with diagram.
