But this VA goes beyond that and definitely puts effort into it. His Hunter has the same kind of energy as the English version. The main difference is that the voice cracks are sometimes at different points. There are also subtle differences in lines, like this one. English: "That's just life, rat. Everyone has its use, and if you don't; bye-bye!" Dutch: "That's how life is, rat. Everyone is good for something. I'm not. So, bye-bye!"

Agreed. Hunter's voice feels very well-done and fitting, which surprised me. I love Owl House, but many of the Dutch voices I don't think suit them very well. I'm not a fan of Belos', Eda's and especially Gus' especially.

This dub is really really good. A lot of dubs in other shows don't feel very natural, but here the characters parallel really well to how they sound in English. Well king sounds odd but nobody can recreate Alex Hirsch's voice

Well, some Dutch words just already sound like English (or are just the same word with a different meaning). Like for instance, mein. Sounds like mine, but it means my. Or, die, which means the in Deutsch (couldn’t say the same about Dutch though without feeling like I was lying, because that’s not what I’m learning, and I have no clue. The languages are just incredibly similar)

It's definitely gotten much better, i remember when i was a kid every pokemon/beyblade-esque show on CN sharing at least half a voice cast.
