It feels like I'm listening to a friend talk on the phone. I like that I can comment so that I sort of engage in conversation. I'm a bit shy to start vlogging myself.
I have been getting rid of old tech too. The apple store assures me I can recycle there and the data will get destroyed, I think they take any type of computer. I did have an old laptop battery swell up so it is good to get those out.

❤️ to hear! Yes that is true about the apple stores, I am going to look into that for all of my (many) apple devices

I would suggest installing an AC vent in the back window from the back of the fridge (have your SO fashion it to the back of the fridge somehow to contain the exhaust heat to redirect it outside) and leave the battery in the trunk cuz it's cooler. It'll be way too hot in the interior of the car with all that heat. Also, invest in a small 12 volt solar panel from Harbor Freight (they work in partially shadex), and it'll maintain your backup battery. Good luck

Have you ever seen Lindy's L.A. van adventures or Vivian's van adventures? They both seem much older than you but are still on the road! Vivian did say recently that she might have to end this way of life (not sure how old she is) but Lindy is 76 and seems perfectly content with it. I think it would be tough as you get older, but probably depends on your health!

I am so curious about where are you sleeping in town: Rest areas, residential areas, industrial areas, Walmart parking lots? California has so many unhoused people. Is there competition for overnight parking places?

There are not usually rest stops in town, and California Walmarts usually don't allow overnight parking (per local ordinance or per the landowner). I typically sleep at the line between different types of areas. Like a street where one side is residential and the other side is commercial or government or light industry. I park on the non-residential side (so I'm not in front of someone's house) but it is typically quiet. Yes there is competition! In other areas it may be good to park in front of a big apartment complex, but here those streets are always packed with people who live in the apartments!

Hi! So I notice you do a lot of vlogging on here without an intro or outro or have music, I do all that with my vlogs, would you ever consider that or would it be too much work? 😅

I do have music and will be using that more, but I don't see myself making an intro for every video. I more like that style of just getting into it, like Nomadic Introvert or Cat Lady Van

I just noticed that - sorry!
And I also just read your description! Wow! I’m impressed, I’m totally gonna do something similar! I use an intro cause I think it makes it more professional and to me? Shows the viewer what my channel is about, I just started making videos a couple of months ago and I’m so new to this!
      Your one busy lady!!!!!!!

For the people I follow, I appreciate no intro. For the ones who have it I skip it it’s annoying.
