- Happy National Day for all Singaporeans out there!
Welcome to the new and updated Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport in Terminal 3. This lounge is exclusive to all Star Alliance passengers traveling on First and Business Class flights. Opened in early 2022, this lounge has been updated and has a much improved ambience compared to its predecessor, where the lighting was dark and the lounge became dated.
The food options on offer have become better over time, and the amenities have improved especially with their bathrooms. Personally, I would recommend flying business class just to use this lounge.
For those people with Star Alliance Gold and not travelling on First nor Business Class, you'll have to use the Krisflyer Gold Lounge - but that one is very good too (they even have shower facilities now). The food options are not as great as that of the SilverKris lounge but they are still very good for lounge food, whereas comparable lounges tend to have worse food options.

Another excellent blog bro please keep up the great work and content you are uploading and can not wait for the next one please keep safe out there
What a nicely paced walkthrough, thanks so much. I booked my first business class flight and am a bit nervous about using the lounge on my own so this video helped a lot
Not a problem, glad to see you've enjoyed the video 😍
Thanks for the solid review. If you notice gluten free options or signs please point that out in the future. I think I saw glutten free icon on the Vegetable Crystal dumplings.
Yup, thank you for the suggestion 😃
Very insightful piece bro. I’m flying off to LAX this December. At least I would know what to expect. 🙏🏻
Glad to see that my video helped you out. Enjoy your business class flight 🛫
Love these travel vids! Travel safe :)
Will do, thank you for the comment 😃
I wanted to see a tour of this after watching Bts' bon voyage episode . And you gave a very clear tour! 😍 Thanks for uploading!
Not a problem, I'm a BTS fan too so glad you watched their videos too.
Great !!😍
wow amazing. Changi airport has got to be one of my favourites. Champagne is always appreciated 🤣
Yup, gotta get that free flow champagne coming in aye 😉
Your tour is very clear and informative - wanted to know what the Business Lounge would be like for my flight tomorrow. Thanks!
Not a problem, great to see you've enjoyed the tour of the business lounge.
good video mate
Thanks brah, feel free to watch the other videos aye
Thank you!! (The old lounge has been embarrassing for the last 4-5 years!)
And the krisflyer gold lounge even more so. The food was okay before but yeah, it's improved massively thank goodness
Great looking lounge, i would have gone for some champagne :)
It's really good. Champagne is free flow as well. 🤣
@@YZsTravelAdventures Hmm thats my kinda lounge lol
Very good.
Is 2 hours layover to visit Silverkris business class lounge enough in Singapore airport (flight is Singapore airlines)
Business class? That should be enough to experience everything tbh
What do you recommend for a 14 hour layover? Since you mentioned no sleeping pods where can we go rest and lay down?
There's no sleeping pods but if the seats are empty then you in theory could lie down on those leather ones I showed in the video.
Otherwise you'll have to check in on a hotel or some sleeping area at Changi airport.
Are the imfl and ordered food included with the access or any more cost??
Included in the cost
have you done one on the lounge at perth airport
Not yet, maybe if I fly to Perth I'll do it
What time were you there? It looks decently quiet.
I was there on a Sunday from 3pm-5pm
Whats the difference between sikver kris lounge n the gold lounge? I booked a business class from spore to seoul
You'll be using the silverkris lounge, it's way better, has better food and more showers. 👍
could you tell me how many showers there are? Thanks.🙏
If I recall correctly, about 15 of them in total. Most of the time you won't need to queue up unlike the Krisflyer gold lounge (which has showers now thank god)
dude, you didn't even talk about the twg tea bags, they are $3.50 a bag. i always stock up when i'm there
Err about that...... (Shhhhhhh)
are there any sleeping pods in this lounge?
No sleeping pods unfortunately, but there are long enough leather seats where you can probably rest
@@YZsTravelAdventures Thanks
Isn’t there an al a carte menu?
Nope, not that I know of. That's available in the first class lounge though.
How can you get access to this lounge?
Have to fly first or business class on a star alliance flight
@@YZsTravelAdventures i have a gold Membership with Thai airways can i use this one or not?
@@happykahlon100 you'll get access to krisflyer gold instead. But it's gotten significantly better than before.
Commenting for the algo!
Thank you so much 🥰
You open all the pots, food containers and talk in front of the food. I hope you covered your face.
hi what is the difference between first/business class lounge and gold lounge 0:27 ?
First lounge I'm not sure but definitely better than business for sure. There's ala carte I believe. Business lounge - more space, more showers, better food offerings and more amenities (you can book a conference room). That said KF gold lounge is still a great lounge nowadays
