Thanks for another great promo of TT. Especially like that you’ve encouraged riders to spin down to the cafe! You must go sample the original trails in your next visit at Drummy Woods. Give us a shout and we’ll try and join you for the complete TT1/2 experience.
So good to see Tarland getting some investment into mountian biking. I used to go there 25 years ago when I was a boy to shred in the woods, awesome it has a national presence now as there are so many great places to ride in that area.
When here favourite was Scalectrix, Holy Cow down to bottom, On High Pressure and Spine caught out on steeper rock features, jump lines on Crowd Surfin great fun, overall fantastic time! Oh and thanks for suggesting Heartbreak Ridge the next day, managed quite a bit but sessioning required next time, cheers Andy and thanks for sharing 😁
Love Tarland Trails. Totally agree about the surface of the bottom trails, it seems pretty dangerous for a Blue, which is a shame as I’d love to take my 5 year old on the blues but the berms are so loose, I wouldn’t feel confident taking her down them.
I was there on the weekend... it's just too good! Only had two runs of Fools gold so need a bit more practice with it but its so well built and so much fun.
@@McTrailRider Yeah I need to work on the 1st 2nd and 5th jump and the big step up, everything else I'm pretty much there with, which is not bad for my first outing on the bike this year. The massive sharkfin-type hip is a total booster! :) Will try and see if I can get over to Glenviet at some point too for a go on the new trail.
Get into ballater early morning, start of by doing heart break ridge , take the short cut up to it , great warm up then head to tarland trails ....Great day. Great watch as always p.s great to see a fellow voima shredder 😂👌 🤘🤘🤘
Brilliant, thank you for putting together the video, I'm definitely visiting ASAP 🤙💪💪 (Oh and investing in a "Towy"?) even though i don't have an Ebike, as you never know when an opportunity appears 🤣
Thanks for the vids. Ill be visiting in a couple of weeks from here in North Wales....be good to see the comparison :) How are the climb trails? Just boring fire-road or something more techy and interesting?
Incredible looking trails! Do you know the brand of that tow rope? I'd love to get one for towing my kids up the hills rather than using the dog lead! Thanks, Adrian
It’s hard to put a time on it. It is quite a long climb, but it’s mainly Singletrack and quite nice. It’s 450 vertical meters to the very top, but you can do plenty below that height.
E bike was around 30 mins at a leasuirly pace so I'd imagine about an hour to High Pressure. Once there you can come off High Pressure and and cut over to call me Chris. In about 10 mins. Best staying up top for as long as possible before heading down Scelectrix or Spine.

Would be good to get the addition of the original trails too👍
Would love to have you show me around too👌
As always very well made video! And some damn good riding!
Thanks Rory👍
Cracking video Andrew, quality of footage is incredible. And some nice riding. Thanks for filming, Andy
Definitely planning a trip up there in the next few weeks, Looks absolutely awesome.
Awww mate this is epic vid. Even more so if that drone was following you. So much flow 👍
Maybe use the drone a bit more on the next visit.

I really do think that that area in general has some of the best riding in the country 👌
Thanks Andrew..those lenses are the BALLS on cloudy days , rain too !
The Prism’s? They’re really good, game changers almost.
@@McTrailRider For an older rider , they are ! I’m easily amused tho .. ? Shiny …..

Nice! Heartbreak ridge is a great way to compliment a day at Tarland👌
Yes buddy! Nailing the black. I need to go back as I'm still short on two of them 🤙
Don’t know if I nailed the black, but I’m happy enough. It’s a trail that lures you back shortly after leaving 😜
Such nice flow and doubles all over the place! Very like Ballyhoura in Ireland 💚
I’ll need to go there and find out now👍
Looks like the best day out! Nice riding!!!
It’s fantastic👌
Great vid Andy, the place looks fab
It is!

looks awesome, nice riding - flow all day long :)
Flow for days!
👌 great stuff Buddy 😜🚴
Thanks 👍
No problem too you m8 your a good rider
Cheers Callum👍
Was there Wednesday Thursday. Spine is my fav with the huge dips at the end 😊
That end section of spine is so much fun, a real rollercoaster feel to it.
Crowd Surfin best track there I reckon!
It’s hard to choose a favourite, but Crowd Surfing is a good contender👍
I was there on the weekend... it's just too good! Only had two runs of Fools gold so need a bit more practice with it but its so well built and so much fun.
If you get the first two jumps good, then you’ll be fine for the rest of it. As you say, it’s well built, so it is quite predictable.

Sounds like a good day on the bike 👌
Got friends coming up from the central belt this weekend. They are in for a treat....after ive took them up HB ridge first 😂
A treat indeed👌

You never know when you might benefit from a tow 😜

The climb trail is pretty good singletrack until the top section, then it’s got a bit of fire road.
Incredible looking trails! Do you know the brand of that tow rope? I'd love to get one for towing my kids up the hills rather than using the dog lead! Thanks, Adrian
I’m not sure what the brand was for this one. Mine is a Towie, expensive, but quite good.
Looks amazing. How long g does it take to ride from Carpark to the top of the trail centre?
Awesome riding as always👍

@youngbairn Thanks alot.👍
:)
Great video as always fella. Me n buddy coming up September to hit this before heading over to fort William. Are the manageable for an all day ride
Nice! You could probably hit all the trails in 3/4 hours if your fit.
@@McTrailRider so 3 hours for me lmao
