The trenchcoats are warm but they are best used with layers. Trenchcoats weren't meant to be used in combat but we're due to lack of winter equipment during much of the bulge. In our other videos like the snow hike we are wearing normal winter equipment. We wore out trenchcoats here because it was much colder then normal
@@MrTacticalwolf it's hard it find larger sizes because people were a lot smaller back then, What Price Glory sells a reproduction coat but its not cheap
Battle of the bulge conditions wasn't just being cold! It was taking fire, being hit with airburst from mortars hitting trees. Inadequate clothing, Most guys didn't have trenchcoats and proper boots. Getting frostbite, losing friends. Playing dress up is fun I suppose but it is definitely not the same conditions. From a Beirut Lebanon Veteran 1982! 2nd MAR Div!!!
Yeah, that's why it's called RE-ENACTING. they were saying that it was the same WEATHER Conditions, NOT combat conditions. So thank you for your service. From a Desert Storm/Somalia Veteran, 75th Rangers (Airborne)!!!
It’s not playing dress up lol it’s about to show people and for the re-enactors how it was like in WW2 not exactly how it was like but how it would have felt a little bit. Anyway I thank you two for your service
Does the other guy you're with ever shut up? It's your channel, not his, dude needs to stop interrupting you and talking over you, cool vid though dude from a UK reenactor

Whenever Old Man Winter asks if you are ready to surrender, just say what Gen. McAuliffe said to the Germans.

Why do vets such as yourself always come off as pricks. Stop trying to always pick fights just to insert yourself
