I was just wondering what all I could do with my round faceted acrylic beads & I think they would be beautiful in earrings like this. Of course I need to get the end caps. I love this!
Although we don't quite have a kit, you can find the materials here: beadaholique.com/collections/beading-projects/products/kumihimo-loop-earrings-in-rouge
Trying to squish your braid into those end caps has got to be the worst thing about kumihimo. Other than that, this is a beautiful earring design-I really like both colorways. Thanks, Alexandra, for sharing with us.
Such a fun looking project going to make a pair for my valentines date
So pretty! You explain things so well. Thank you 😊

These are so pretty, but I've never tried Kumihimo. May make that a new 2020 goal to learn it. Thanks for sharing.
Very cute.
These would be a good kit to be able to purchase 😬😊🥰

2CUTE LUV THEM BOTH
Hi can you please tell me how much cord should I use to make the loop earrings
Here is a link to more detailed instructions: beadaholique.com/products/kumihimo-loop-earrings-in-rouge
Can fold over cord ends be used on this?
You certainly could. We recommend fold over cord ends that can accommodate 3mm cord. Thank you.
What size cord end did you use?
They are the ones that fit 3mm cord. You can find them here: beadaholique.com/collections/beading-projects/products/kumihimo-loop-earrings-in-rouge
I love this idea, so cute! How long did you cut your s-lon to get a 10" strip of Kumihimo?
Generally, it is recommend to cut 3 times the length that you are trying to make. This project requires 3 feet for each cord. Thank you.
