Todd and Blair are always together - always married to each other - even when they aren't. I loved it, when in one of the very last episodes of OLTL, the EMT asked Todd who had called the police and he said (without even thinking), "my wife did." They had been divorced for almost a decade when he said that line. And then on GH when he called her "Mrs. Manning". In spirit at least, they are always each other's husband/wife. And that's the way it will always be.
@laurelnroses Tea was WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! There is no other way to look at it. The writers have tried to repair it, but she was WRONG! She spent months, visiting the penthouse, perched like a vulture, waiting for Blair to die! The minute Blair went into a coma, her first suggestion was a quickie divorce and marriage. Todd proposed the marriage, but she should have refused. I think that though the years, Todd came to resent Tea for her ill-advice.
Evil twin oooh so ironic. What is so interesting about roger & trevor playing todd is roger wanted todd with blair not tea. He & kassie went to the writers to ask that they be hooked back up. So they said nope & kept him with tea. Roger engaged in " rebel acting " where he said the writers lines but conveyed his feelings about Blair. Ironically trevor st john hated being paired with blair & everytime the writers did so he would do his own rebel acting & tank scenes with kdp . It's not the words but the way u say them. He pushed hard for tea as his pairing. Just interesting that the two Todd's even in real life each preferred the other pairing & when denied acted out the other way. Also tsj knew starr was Todd's special child & acted like he had no connection with starr & acted more caring towards dani. Roger otoh was all about starr. I swear tsj in the role starr & todd had no connection & when roger returned it was back. Same with todd & viki & Jessica. Jesse even told viki " u know how I told u I havent felt close to uncle todd in a long time ? " ironically jessica right away accepted roger as todd while the others were waiting for the truth.
i agree 100% that blair was always and always will be his best friend and best partner. i truly think that somewhere deep down they always loved each other even during the tnt era(which i hated). if you watch the 2001 episode gravity of love blair says she wants todd. he replies "im right here i always have been". that make me think that if she had given him a chance he would have left tea. He didnt want a sexual relationship with tea. maybe because he wanted blair.
In 2011-2012 he again speaks, 2 or 3 times, of "always" having loved Blair! That episode in 2001 made me wonder the same thing-would he have left Tea for her if given encouragement from Blair. He once said, while with Tea, that Blair wouldnt take him back "if hell froze over" so i wonder how long he thought that door was entirely closed.
Agreed. In spite of the vitrial the writers wrote for TnB at the time, their love & connection had a way of leaking out. TnB could just stand in the same room, along w/Tea, and TnB's true feelings of love & attraction were felt. Tea noticed & numerous times commented. Other times, she just knowingly moved her eyes from Todd to Blair. I remember scenes where I wondered if it was written that way, or if RH & KDP were rebelously allowing their characters to be who they were through body language.
Loved in 2002 when Tea, herself, told Todd that she knew he's always loved Blair and always would. While married to Todd, she used to watch he and Blair together and seem bothered by the TnB connection so Im not at all surprised that she clearly saw his love for Blair.
"Perched like a vulture" is true. Tea came to his private residence, even though it'd be more convenient & appropriate to go to his business. She dressed provocatively, asked personal questions about his marital relationship, gave advice intended to quickly end his marriage. She told him he needed to get re-married quickly, in order to keep Starr, knowing she was the only woman in his sphere. Todd proposed a business arrangement; Tea tried to turn it into a real marriage by trying to seduce him.
todd abused tea in almost every possible way, the same way he abused almost everyone else in his life. she didn't deserve that. but the thing about tea is that she was always so obsessed with this idea of him as a "project" that needed "fixing" rather than seeing him as a complex human being. tea refused to believe that todd was as dangerous as everyone, including todd himself, told he he was because she needed her love to be able to "change" him. this is part of the reason why she makes such a big deal about her and victor's sexual relationship. she even told todd, "he loved me in a way you never could." tea and blair were both attracted to todd's "danger", but blair could almost always meet todd toe to toe.
@@fatimagic1365 Tea had an obsession with Todd. He showed her repeatedly he didn’t give two shits about her. Even going as far to knocking her ass out. I still remember that interview by Gary Tomlin, when Todd declared to Tea that he loved Blair after they had sex somewhere in the Pacific Isle. Those TnT deluded fans were heavily upset by that. GT said those fans had very short memories, cause Todd knocking Tea out shower just how much he loved her. Which was non existent.😂
@milpa24 Exactly!!! I lived for their scenes during TnT...Tea was always trying to change him and because of that she never stood a chance of being more than a stand in. Blair was truly his partner in EVERY sense.
This was the night there was a prison break on OLTL. Cole was shot, and taken to the hospital where Todd arranged for it to look like Cole had died--but he didn't.

Ironic how their talking about Todd having a twin.
The Irony Of That Initial Dialogue! 😂😂😂
Thanks for uploading these clips. It's hard to find TnB moments during the TnT era, most have been cut out.
"Why would someone like me have an EVIL twin?" Say what I will about Todd Manning but he knows who and what he is
"we're soulmates" *THUD*

@2008babyella
The last scenes on the show:
Todd: "It's always been you and me, Blair" "I love you!"
Blair: "I love you too!"
@milpa24 Exactly!!! I lived for their scenes during TnT...Tea was always trying to change him and because of that she never stood a chance of being more than a stand in. Blair was truly his partner in EVERY sense.
YES! FOUND IT. I don't know how I missed that! THANKS!
I'm trying to find that last episode your talking about where he said "my wife". Can you point me in the direction of that episode? Thanks.

Huh? If you mean Cole Thornhart, he wasn't on the show at this time.
@PirateVampGirl I think Victor was more evil in his actions and pathological behavior.
@blssdmmm1
Of course when he said in '97, it was as absurd as he thought it was. BUT, very funny now!
@milpa24 so true and thank you. blair and todd aka beauty and the beast
@Fluttercry Couldn't agree more!Hilarious!!!!!!! ROFL
