The Process Of Feeding The Leech Full Feeding Time

- I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for taking us along Post. You are indeed a true man of patience. Cool video, man!
He went from looking like a dill pickle spear to a whole ass English cucumber 🤣🤣
I never thought I would enjoy watching someone feed their pet leech. But I did. You are an interesting guy. I had a brother-in-law who had leech therapy to clean leg wounds. It worked pretty well. Thank you Post10.☮️💖🎶
3 hours of post! Awesome 🙌🏼
It would be cool if you did two cameras the way you do the culvert cleanouts with a close-up of it on your arm and then a panned out view of the entire room
This is some wild shit, Post. Love from Calgary
Wtf are you doing?!?😂😂😂 Smart TV guy here. I do use my phone when I leave comments because the TV remote is a total pain!
Not a medical professional but I would use thick gauze pads and wrap with the ace bandage. Also I wonder if liquid skin would seal it.
Wow post your a lucky dude! You got ya a keeper! Congrats brother!
I remember when you tried to feed him Beef Liver. He had no interest.
Here's a good tip for anyone with a minor puncture wound. Next time get a roll of latex bandage wrap and gauze pads, you'll find it in pharmacy. Take the a couple gauze pads, fold them in half together and push it down hard on the wound to stop the bleeding. Hold it there and while you wrap it VERY tight, not like a tourniquet, but close, you want it pretty tight. Don't worry you're arm won't fall off lol. The pressure from the wrap will push the gauze pad down and stop the bleeding, while the rest of the blood is soaked up by the pad. Even with anticoagulant, you know, that left over blood will eventually dry up and harden on the pad and also to your skin, creating an artificial scab. After a few hours, the blood will be dry enough and pad will turn hard and stick there like a scab. Then finally you can loosen the wrap to make it more comfortable, while leaving the gauze pad alone. Don't worry about the powders or superglue, that's more for major stuff and emergencies. When you learn how to wrap a wound correctly, you won't have any trouble. (stuff we learn in a first aid class that we think we already know, but we actually don't lol)
Just got done watching your pressure washing video, it ended, and here you are again! YES! A two in one! 😀 And 3 hours no less!
I know in the past you said you weren't interested in doing live streams, but if you ever change your mind, a leech feeding would be perfect for that.
I had this and the zoomed in version both playing at the same time. Thank you for sharing feeding your leech, it was intersting.
This is the most boring...but the most interesting video I've ever seen on utube.
Post 10 never fails to entertain.
Thanks for showing this! I hope the wound is better now.
What do the leeches do in the water with no blood to suck?? Thanks for this interesting video Post!
Wow 3 hrs! You really out did yourself 😊. How is the fancy pigeon? Haven’t seen it in forever.
Gross but interesting 🤔💭
I’m glad you feed it your own blood though … very conscientious of you Post 🏆🥇
Can't wait to see these camping videos!!
I honestly think this is interesting 😂
Facinating mate. Thanks for sharing xx
I saw you’re Tab can. I wish they still made it. ❤
*PRESSURE! PRESSURE! PRESSURE!* You need to put something on your wound (ie. napkin, washcloth, whatever you can find), then put pressure on it for a few mins or (wrap it with gauze, duct tape, whatever). Pressure is what clots the blood, it's like a dam. *PRO TIP* When you go to the doctor's for a blood draw, keep pressure on the area immediately after they pull the needle out. Pressure for 30 secs to a min, and you won't get a bruise. 😉
Super glue would keep the blood from coming out. Military used to use it
I was a trauma icu nurse and have pharmaceutical leech experience. When they won’t latch on, we would use a sterile needle to prick the skin to start a little bleeding. Your leech friend took forever!! In my experiences, leeches would detach after 10 minutes or less. Your friend must have been tired, lol.
They use a needle to prick the skin if the leech is reluctant to latch on or they use another leech.
I'm thinking the flash from the camera somehow interrupted its feeding and it let go of the bite? Might work for next time 😉
It was on over 2 hours so it was definitely full, it was hesitant because I didn't like what I was trying to put it
Bruh… how did that convo with ur doctor go
I guarantee it was a fun one 🤣🤣
lol i was wondering too, maybe like this:
"so, uh... i gotta leech to feed and last time the wound got infected..."
"say no more, here are antibiotics."
Im on prescription blood thinners and have to use that stretcht rubber-ish wrap that sticks to itself to produce enough pressure on a wound to get it to stop bleeding.
Betadine is highly recommended to disinfect the wound afterwards. Cool video. Although I hate leeches.
Maybe he's just not hungry 😅
If am not wrong, they use them at the hospital to day because they help with heeling infections? If you have infection in a cut or open sore’s? Anyone who knows if the hospital is breading them or do they baying them? Thanks post 10 for sharing even if someone don’t like it. I respect that. I don’t have a problem with it. This time you have taken a necessary steps to avoid getting infections and that’s good 😊👍. Well I got the answer, memo to myself watch the whole video before asking the questions 😂
Please don't forget to take your antibiotics!
I sanitize the area well and use super glue.
Once you apply the styptic powder, you’re supposed to immediately put pressure over the wound until the bleeding stops. If the bleeding is still too much, then super glue is great. But literally the best way is just to keep pressure on the wound and limit movement for a bit.
Other than that, this video was interesting. I remember the last leech feeding video and it’s kind of cool to see how much of the size it retained since then and how the feeding went differently.
you have to apply pressure to it, a friend of mine had a leech and she used menstrual tampons in a pressure bandage. worked like a charm!
Well, I have to say, you surprised me. A lot.
It’s the weirdest one that I have ever seen in my entire life. Sure, the leech ain’t a kinda pet I’d want to have in my own home, but it was interesting experience just to watch, anyway. A bit creepy too, yes.
in medieval times it was called bloodletting, people actually paid to have a leech/leeches draw blood as they thought it got rid of ailments
.
You can lead a horse to stray water but you can’t make him drink. You can lead a leach to blood but you can’t make him eat 😂
It reminds me of Little Shop of Horrors ❤😊😅
This was fascinating!
Post 10 👍👍
Teeny tiny leeches where I live carry their young under their belly. Quarter inch long and nearly see though with a brownish tinge.
49:26 is when the leech attaches
A man and his leech 😂
Did anyone think the old mark was a tb test? Generally that is where they test you.
Yunnan baiyao capsules/powder work better then styptic powder for clotting. Get you some!
So interesting! I wonder how your doctor reacted when you told them you were going to feed your pet leech and needed some antibiotics to treat the infection you’re bound to get 😅
Rip Leech. That last feeding was a little hard and weird to watch those hours..
Would arm tourniquet above, dry, apply anti powder.
Please find it alternative food.
Maybe next time, try using liquid skin over the top of clotting powder. My thinking is that if you can pause the bleeding long enough to get the liquid skin to stick, it should provide enough resistance to keep your blood in your arm instead of pouring all over. I'm sure it will still create a pocket, like a blood blister, but if you get enough of the liquid skin on around the wound on the dry skin, it should have a good hold.
1.05 -- .41 = .64oz of blood made that little guy into a big guy in 2 hours first time leach feeding video for me !
An Always Pad can contain most 5 day blood supplies 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Post, I know you have done this before , but still worried for you. I hope you are OK and can find something else for the leech to "eat"! I guess the other things you tried didn't work.
Maybe consider a live rat.
Post, antibiotics aren't good for you -- they mess up your gut bacteria, which is vital for health. Is the leech worth it?
Dude, a leech?
Tooo gicky fer me.
Is there not a better way to feed this?
Yuck
un-subbed. this is weird. not cool, weird, but someone should report you to the FBI weird.
weird
@@jbtownsend9535 I know, right? Makes my pet mosquitoes look normal.
Buh bye😂😂
I'm telling ya'll!!!!!!! STRAIGHT UP SERIAL KILLER ENERGY!!!!!!!!
When I was little my mom found a leech in the garage. She showed me how to pour salt on it… This is crazy! I tend to defer from things that suck my blood. 🩸😂
I dig seeing Postess 10 randomly.
Watched the whole thing!
Why would you not only allow, but almost force a parasite to suck out and consume your blood?? 😬🫣
