@@swiftshadow266 Yeah, in a open letter that Shane Newville (The man that worked directly with Monty in Volumes 1 and 2) had written, said that a bunch of Volume 3's initial ideas and animations Monty had were scrapped after his death. Yang was actually supposed to fight Adam to protect Blake in essentially a fight to the death. It was replaced with the footage we actually got in the show.

I love how Jaune's developed as a warrior. He still lacks strength, but specializes in strategy. Also, like every other Bumblebee shipper out there, I'll be either pissed or disappointed if Blake and Yang don't get together by the end of the show!

The scar on Adam's face says SDC,which I think stands for Schnee Dust Company.Which makes sense since Faunuses worked for them,probably as slaves,as we can guess from the Adam Short.

Just realized that when Adam told Blake "You just left me alone", after he told her that people hurt him in all sorts of ways, he could have been referring to the Black trailer when she left him on the dust train. The brand on his face his SDC which probably means Schnee Dust Co. Maybe when she left him on the train he was caught and branded before he escaped or was released. If so, that just adds so much depth to Adam because it's more than "oh Blake you dumped me" it's more like "you left me when I needed you the most and look what they did to my face". The humans took his eye and his face...that's pretty deep.
Whilst an interesting idea, I feel like the brand was made a lot earlier than that. It seems to be the catalyst for his hatred of humans, and the thing that led him to becoming a part of the White Fang in the first place. It was also shown that he was using the masks to hide his face from much earlier than the Black trailer as well, probably out of shame and self pity.
yeah. i think Blake is also guilty for his demise. it isnt fair. i think the writers are just gonna ignore it tho so that a happy ending where blmb is just completely perfect comes true.
I also think it wouldnt be possible to be from the black trailer solely due to the fact that there was not enough time between Cinders initial visit (the day of the train robbery) and her return with semi maiden powers (right after blake abandons leaves during the black trailer)

Can I just say. I can imagine Blake in Attack on Titan with those moves of hers in the forest while she was running from Adam.
Okay; first things first. I love BMBLB; I'm a huge fan of them, but even I will admit that people are blowing this out of porportion.
I ship Blake and Yang; I don't hate Sun at all; hell, if anything I think that Sun was a highlight in volume 5.
With their comment about protecting each other; I fan girled at first, I loved it; however, thinking about the comment some more; I don't think it was a shipping moment, at least; not in full.
They make each other stronger, they don't have to struggle alone; that's what the comment about protecting each other was about; I feel, more than the shipping possibilities. I wouldn't necessarily call it a romance moment; (though I could see why some would; I actually did at first as well; but after thinking about it; I think it wasn't really intended for shipping; just as to reinforce that they're on a good term, considering the fact that Blake leaving really messed with Yang) it was a moment to drag Adam down, even further.
Okay; now for the rest of the episode:
The reveal of Adam's eyes, I feel so bad for him, he deserves to die/be arrested, but the reveal of his eyes, I can understand him a bit more now, why he is the way he is. Sympathize with him, I suppose.
And you can still hate a character, while sympathizing with said character.
The fight scene between Yang and Adam was definitely awesome! I was actually hoping that Yang would throw the bike at Adam, that was one of the things I said in volume 10; when I saw Adam, and sure enough that happened.
Sad that the bike is gone, though maybe Yang can get a new bike? A even better bike? I don't know.
The mech fight was pretty bad ass as well; though when Cordovin pointed the mech at Ruby, when she was dangling for her life, I was like hell no! You better not.
And a rare duo in Qrow and Ren, I wasn't really expecting that; but that was cool. Okay; did Nora just declare her love to Ren? When she commented on hey bring back her man? I loved that comment, that was great.
And really, yeah; Ruby and co are in the wrong; Cordovin is definitely over reacting, but Ruby and co are breaking the law; she's telling them no, and they aren't listening; though if she had just let them get in contact with Ironwood this whole thing could have been avoided; so I don't know.
Overall a great episode, one of my favorites: Face reveal from Adam, Yang vs Adam fight scene, mech fight scene, so many great moments.
Finally someone who agrees with me about Adam. I don't think he deserves to die but at least get arrested. I do have some sympathy for him. It looks like his scar is a brand S.D.C (Schnee Dust Company?) And the fact that Sieena (Fox girl) Influenced him that killing humans was okay.
Also I do agree about BumbleBee ship. I personally prefer BlackSun but I still do like BumbleBee, but yeah some people take it too far. Anytime they have a friendly moment "SHIP", any time they work together "SHIP".
I ship both BumbleBee and Blacksun, I think either way it works really well. While it isn't impossible that this was just a friendship moment, it really, REALLY felt like a ship moment. Not just because of what was said but because of everything else that was going on too. Notice how Adam reacts to Yang, everything he is saying sounds like a jealous ex snapping at their ex's new partner. I get the feeling he wouldn't act that way if it was Ruby or Weiss there, and they are both also friends with Blake. Heck, the scar on his face was a Schnee Dust Company stamp, and he seems to hate Yang more then Weiss. Why? Yang never did anything to him, beyond trying to stop him and failing completely at it. There's something unique about Yang that is bothering Adam, and I think if it was just because she's Blake's friend Adam would show the same anger and aggression towards Ruby and Weiss. And while Yang was the one he fought back in season 3, I don't see why that would merit his jealousy showed towards her. He won that fight without any real effort, that shouldn't make him show jealousy towards Yang.
And I won't go into further detail because of spoilers, but in the next episode when they fight together the symbology gets even stronger.
Then again, there is also one symbolic thing that would count against bumblbee. And that is bumblbee falling off a cliff and being, presumably, lost forever. That could have been the writers throwing the ship off a cliff.
Food for thought. :)
Volume 6 has given us both the best EMOTIONAL episode AND the best ACTION episode in the entire show!

I was so excited for this episode and damn it delivered. Yang especially was amazing. I loved how they emphasized the difference between Yang and Adam's semblances, one avoids the pain, the other embraces it to get stronger. Adam runs away from pain, Yang grows with it. And the fight was amazing as well. Also, Yang staying true to her words to Raven: "I'm scared, but I'm still standing here."
Adam: But you're selfish!
Me: No, you are.
They both are. Blake just was more lucky to find better friends and mentors, who didn't support this selfishness.

I just realized that Adam saw the way Blake and Yang were looking at each other so he got mad and was going to unleash some kind of super move on Yang because 1: he doesn't like that Blake has someone else she likes (in a friend way or in a love way, doesn't matter) and 2: to torture Blake since that was his life goal or something.
What I'm trying to say is that I liked Adam reacting to it.

I'm kind of disapointed that Yang had basically no reaction to being face to face with Adam since the fall of Beacon cause to me that means all the psychology ptsd stuff between Yang and Adam was basically pointless so all of Yang's potential character development they built up just went out the window in my opinion at least
I mean if you, re listen to Armed and Ready it indicates she was atleast able to overcome it enough, she was also able to hold her Composure during the Fight against Him.
@@fenrisvermundr2516 I've listened to Armed ad Ready countless times since it came out but that's more or less irrelevant in this conversation my point with my last comment was that since they didn't just have Yang fall apart at the mere sight of Adam they made all the character development with her ptsd the past few volumes essentially pointless seriously I her to drop to her knees in fear when she saw him like Sakura did in the forest of death the first time she see's orochimaru (referencing Naruto here just in case you haven't seen it) that's the way it feels like to me at least like all her character development just went out the window and she's back to being just a bland character in my opinion

@@MandyMan24 I have not seen chapter 12 yet so please no spoilers. I get that Yang's arm was shaking but that's not good enough for me for a couple reasons 1. If they wanted to finish the vol. with a fight between Yang Blake and Adam they shouldn't of had Yang have another ptsd moment back when they were at the farm that to me is the writers not being able to make there minds up between the psychology of Yang's character and the practicality of her character they should of picked one and stuck with it cause these two things don't work well together at least in my opinion 2. Yang never really had much that made her an interesting character before all this with Blake and Adam started in vol. 3. I think this moment was something they could of done so right that it would of made up for that fact and in my opinion they blew they could of renewed my faith in there writing ability and they blew it so disappointing

This comment section is overrun with people happy with the show who will buy anything RT feeds them. It's a good thing, fandoms need more positive attitude in general.
But when an interesting comment gets criticised and looked down upon because it dares to criticise the show, giving song lyrics (which are non-cannon btw) to explain something underdeveloped and utterly wasted in a show... one can only sigh really.
I'd recommend watching EruptionFang reactions/breakdowns for these episodes. He's also a fanboy, but more than that he cares about all the things that could have been and sees bad writing when presented with it.

A lot of people misinterpret Adam's last attack, imo. When it happened and I saw the results I wasn't "That was it?" I was astounded. I feel a lot of us forget that Aura doesn't just protect the body from injury, but is also a conduit for weapons and armor too. It's the reason armor doesn't get nicked and scratched every time someone or something slashes at them with blades and claws with enough force to destroy their surroundings or why weapons are harder to dull or even just break when exuding that same amount force. What I think happened here, is that Adam's Aura overpowered Yang's Aura enough for it to leave residual damage on her. So, if she didn't block with that arm, those slash marks would've been on her body and face and not just her robotic arm. It also says a lot about how durable that arm is. Good job, Atlas.
I think some extra sparks or a bit of light, along with more substantial damage to the arm would help to convey how Yang had to expend a large amount of aura to defend against that full-power moonslice. Not a big issue
What I love is that Adam being hit by bumblebee was a meme even before the release of the episode... :)

It's amazing how the semblances reflect the personalities in this. Both Yang and Adam are fueled by what others do to them, but Yang actually accepts the pain that comes with it. Adam's been hurt, but he never learned to accept the pain and move past it.
tl;dr version: Blake apparently has a type.
It should be noted by this point that most of Adam's fight was actually unused Monty footage someone noted. And it just so happens to feature Yang. However, it seems like they added some stuff to Yang's repertoire.
Also, there's just something super satisfying about Adam getting hit by the bike. Personally would have loved it more if he was run over, but this is close enough.
Jaune didn''t actually amplify Nora's aura, there wasn't enough time. He just took half the impact, which broke both their auras.

There are two things I want to say. First PTSD will vary from person to person and trigger to trigger. It can be very situational. My friend who is going through PTSD explains it as a survival response. It can adapt to it's triggers sometimes mildly or severely. PTSD also manifests itself differently in children and teens compared to full grown adults. If you take a look at vol 4 up to now, Yang's shaking has shifted more from fear of that traumatic moment to when she is really angry/upset. Seeing how she is actively working on controlling her anger she might have the coping mechinism to calm her PTSD some. It's still there as we see when Adam calls her out but right now the threat to her and Blake's safety overrides that. Speaking of Blake, my second point, mainly addressing some of the comments I have seen. Blake ran away from Adam for his violent ways, gaslighting, and abusing her through manipulation to get in her head and make her small. She has every right to get out of an abusive relationship. No one would question someone getting beaten by a physical abuser leaving. The same can be applied to emotionally abused people. Blake is a victim. She cannot control Adam's actions and it is not her responsibility to fix him. If someone blames Blake for causing Adam to be this way then that is called victim shaming. Honestly, I wish more people that I know had the strength like Blake to get out of their abusive situations. I just hope this representation will give people strength to get out.
Murder, I get you're just excited for the epsiode and all, but you do realize team rwby's basically doing everything wrong right now right? They're basically doing the equivalent of attacking the police for not being given their way. AFTER having stolen a cruiser I might add. RWBY and friends are completely in the wrong here/acting like criminals. That's not even getting into the fact that they're destroying that cities only line of defense against sea grim, that Jaune mentioned. Not to mention, how poorly they've treated yang's ptsd. She should not have been able to fight him as easily as she did with the way just memories and images of him were effecting her. This episode wasn't... in my opinion at least... not very good at all. There are other things in the episode that bring my opinion to be negative like that, but I'm honestly not here trying to be a party pooper.

Even if Argus knew where she was, she could stall them for team RWBY to converge and make them lose the signal. Or I don't know, use the Atlas military rules against them. Do something so bad you have to be taken to Atlas for trial by Ironwood. Then they can talk. There are so many things that could have been done...

I agree that Cordovin is an idiot. But her aim was to destroy the ship, which is why she took that mech.
The thing is, it's just stupid. They don't even know WHY they're going to Atlas. Oz was taking them there and they don't trust him anymore. They never addressed the issue of why it is so important that they have to go there.
Even if they had a very good reason to go there, they never had to fight her head on (which is again, a pretty stupid idea). They chose to do it because they had no other idea. But what they should have done was use their brain. Let Cordovin be stuck in her suit of armour while they take the ship and look for Blake and Yang and get the hell out of there.
Ruby proved she can shoot down missiles. They could have escaped Cordovin quite easily because she's so damn SLOW in that mech. And she was raging so much she didn't notice Argus needed her help.
They could have helped Blake and Yang maybe capture Adam and turn him in to authorities instead of having them MURDER him. Seriously. Now he's not a terrible leader who abandoned his people but a martyr to the white fang cause. Killed by his former partner turned traitor and a human.

Ugh, I'm sure people are going to take that moment of friendship as a Bumblebee moment despite there being nothing romantic and both Yang and Blake have only ever shown interest in boys. Why is it every time someone is friendly towards someone, people see it as rommantic. Honestly, it's kinda insulting to homosexuals if people think that that is all it takes. I think the RWBY team was trying to say something by throwing away the Bumblebee bike like that.

Because they've never shown any interest for girls and Blake has rejected homosexual advances before. They've both dated guys and talked about dating guys. It's insulting to homosexuals because if people think just being friendly towards a person of the same sex makes you homosexual, that is really trashing on homosexuals. It hurts straight people too. What, straight people can't hold hands for a few seconds in an emotional moment or just be friends anymore without people trying to accuse them of being homosexual? I mean, I know bumblebee is never going to happen and they are just doing some teases to keep certain people invested because the shipping war is so good for them, but I don't think anyone really believes Yang and Blake are ever going to be anything romantic. None of what they've done with each other has been remotely romantic and both have been shown many times to be straight. Even the Bumblebee song shows they never plan to do it because if they did it wouldn't have been such a random and vague song. They are just trying to keep the Bumblebee shippers biting.

Everything people have claimed to be romantic so far haven't been, so I highly doubt it. If you mean this as the recent episode then definitely not. People can make up their own head canons and say it is romantic, but none of it has ever struck me as romantic at all. My friend had a family member pass away recently and I've done a lot of stuff people claim make Yang and Blake romantic for her. Shared trauma or even just trauma does make people more emotional and does give them a bond, but it doesn't make it romantic. The way the Bumblebee shippers act they would ship every soldier that has fought together in a war. I'm not saying Blake and Yang don't love each other, but it's a platonic love.

I'll be honest. I didn't really like this episode. SPOILER
Ok, let me explain. The animation was indeed pretty good. My problem is how the story regarding the fight was. This episode showed in particular one of the biggest problems in V4, V5 and V6: they make our main characters look cool when fighting by making the other allies or enemies stupid or incompetent. Just look at Adam for example: until almost the end of the fight he didn't land a single hit on Blake and was actually a bit slow despite him theorically be a powerful and dangerous threat. And when he hit Blake behind her neck it's because Blake suddendly moved slower. Also aside from the writers forgetting (at least I hope they simply forgot) that Yang should be still scared of Adam (where's that PTSD from before?) Yang even managed to block Adam big slash. Now, it is cool scene but how can we actually be worried about our characters if the enemies can't do basically anything against them? Also regarding the fight against the old woman (sorry, forgot her name), even there you can see that this making enemies dumb or incompetent happen again. Like her missiles not being able to destroy or even crack a mere ice wall who will be at the very max 2 metres. Or the fact that it doesn't have defences from behind. Despite telling us many times how great Atlas power is, this robot sure is pretty weak. About the bumblebee scene...it's a no for me. I'm not omophobic if that's what you are thinking. What I don't like about it is that it comes out just for fanservice. A romantic relationship between the two of them has never been actually shown nor hinted through all the 6 volumes that went over being simply friends helping or supporting each other. The only time where it could actually hint feelings for each other is in V5 when Blake reunite with her team and Yang in a very forced way just stand there in awe GIVING THE BACK TO THE ENEMIES AND THEM NOT DOING ANYTHING FOR A FEW SECONDS. Regarding Adam, I wasn't expecting him to have that mark on his face so props to RT for surprise me. But even there, there are a couple of things I don't understand:
1 Why would they put the mark on his face ruining his eye? If you really want to use him as slave, blind one of his eye isn't exactly helpful. Even nazi at least put the numbers of the prisoners on a part like the arm for letting them being able to work.
2 A mold of that type is usually flat and being the face irregular, it would be quite hard to leave a mark so clear like that.
3 Why he never showed it. If he really wanted to push the faunus against humans, showing what they did to him would convince many easily. But like I said, the animation was good and I'm relieved that they didn't go with something cliché like Adam having silver eyes.

I think you're forgetting how people treated (and still do treat) slaves. They literally beat them until the couldn't move for days and other much worse things. I think blinding one eye on Adam is pretty tame. Adam could have been resisting or something of the sorts to which they blinded him as a warning.

Take a close look at when Jaune activated his Semblance. He focused it inward and was able to clear that extra distance in an instant get to Nora and protect her. His aura broke for the hit but her's is probably fine.

Just wanted to say my first thoughts once the credits rolled were "BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO!" a quote from Iida (My Hero Academia). Seriously, good stuff. Adam was on some Vergil-badassery in that fight. :D I agree that this was absolutely well executed! I wasn't sold on their delivery of Adam's supposed 'abusive boyfriend' angle but this last two chapters really helped paint that intensity and fear-inducing control issues. That line " I wouldn't have to be doing this if you'd just BEHAVE" ugh was so disgusting! XD Loved the Cordo fight with everyone working together (they did a very good job with showing us each party's part without drag or awkward cuts).
S.D.C. The Branding Iron Mark across Adam's left eye- Schnee Dust Company? Also, I was a little confused about the supercharged slice that did nothing but scratch up Yang's new arm (at first I thought it was a horizontal cut and he was attempting to chop her head off but it was a vertical slice). However, this was from Ironwood himself - made of top of the line material and gifted to Yang. So it probably is durable and can sustain a ton of damage. I also just realized that Blake left Adam and joined a team that has a Schnee and someone toting Atlesian equipment - a family name and the Kingdom known for discriminating against Faunus (like Cordo did at the gate). Combine that knowledge with his stalker/possessiveness over Blake... bat-sh*t crazy was the only outcome for him. :O

Adam has good precision when shooting his sword considering he only has one eye and hence limited depth perception. I'm also glad they made him threatening again after last volume.
