- This man was revving his bike very loudly. The cop was looking for the loud bike, but walked past not knowing which one it was in between loud revs. The man must not have seen the cop walk by and did it again outing himself. I assume he got arrested for something else because he was trying to tell the cop he was sorry so as not to give them his ID. Bike Week shenanigans in full swing on caught video!

Obviously wasn't the pipes- and only one of two things a cop gonna bring u in for just by looking at your iD without needing to call it in- expired- or no MC endorsement. Either way the kid was an ass for bringing attention to himself knowing his shit wasn't in order. Everyone is sorry- once they are caught. Dumb hockey puck.

I said this before, the police and the mayor need to ease up on loud pipes. I would like to see them move bike week to another town. I bet Daytona would miss the money bike week brings in.
loud pipes aren't the problem, it's morons sitting there read lining and revving the crap out of their bikes.
They would no doubt miss the money. It would be a huge blow to daytona if they moved it but it will never happen due to the events at raceway.

Revving his bike definitely got the attention.....but must have been arrested for something else as it is not criminal to rev your bike with loud pipes, but you can get a civil infraction for it. Could have been no motorcycle endorsement, suspended license, warrant , etc....but not the revving for arrest.

This is why I no longer go to any of the rallies anymore. Why pay for overpriced hotel rooms, overpriced food and beer just to pay for bullshit tickets. None of them are fun anymore. They’ve all now just cop conventions.

Statistically the state with the most complaints against cops for unlawful stops, unlawful arrests, illegal searches of people vehicles and property. Hard pass.
So here's the thing, those cops could basically arrest about 90%, of those people on bikes for DUI's if they had a mind to. I've been going to Laconia for over 25 years not so much Daytona. One thing I've learned don't be a dick and the cops won't bother you.

Personally I'm glad they are cracking down on "rev bombing". That is some annoying sh$t...when you got a 100 people in the same 1/8 mile doing it. Nobody is impressed with your pipes that sound like the last 30 bikes pipes. Stop it already! With that being said $350 is waaaaay out of line. $50, no points, pay the clerk on your way out.
