But we knew sinner would win fritz in three or four sets. With paul sinner won in straight sets with 2 sets on the razor edge, so he clearly raises his level for the critical moments.
@@simonsmith7251 yes a it's huge advantage a contamination of 0,000000001g with clostebol that is not a steroid or sometime like that but a substance to help healing cuts and wounds and after 6 months that billionth of a gram is still in his body helping him......amazing how much dumb can be a comment
My 1st Favorite is Alcaraz, 2nd is Sinner. But, there is really something very special when it comes to mental strength, its Sinner's advantage. You can always see in his games.
I watch and rewatch his matches, perfect on every ball, exceptional execution of all shots, beautiful two-handed backhand and speed in moving anticipating the shots. It is no coincidence that he is number one.
The serve at 3:26 is one of those points that you'll never see in a highlight reel, but it's what makes Sinner such a menace on his own serve. It's 120 mph -- not bad, but not elite -- but hit with such a great angle that Fritz is on defense immediately. And Sinner exploits players on defense as well as anyone on tour right now. Alcaraz may be a more complete player (higher peak on clay and grass) but his offense is far more likely to lead to errors. Jannik's offense is brutally efficient. I'm almost surprised when I see him miss winners.
I'm an American, so obviously part of me wanted to see Fritz pull the upset, but you just can't watch these two play more than a few games without seeing the massive gap between their abilities. Fritz looked amateurish out there--I mean, his plan was to outplay Sinner on the baseline with virtually no variety? It would have taken a miracle, given how disadvantaged he was in every one of those exchanges. Unfortunately it's also clear why he wasn't coming to net: he's lousy in the forecourt and moves badly in general. Happy with the result, as I don't like to see the weaker player get lucky and win.
The whole match felt to me like Fritz 's only points were from Sinner UFE's and Aces/first serves that can get him to an advantageous position. Once it gets to a neutral rally, then it's game over. Still, massive achievement for Fritz to get to this stage
@@brianho7551 Agreed, and definitely a huge step forward in Fritz's career. Still, I'll be a little surprised if we see him go deep regularly in future slams.
Fritz won some incredible points, but never really put them together to win games or sets. Sinner was simply methodical in winning points. This tournament was all about metal fortitude, and Sinner out-did them all.
Fritz‘s game is this typical american monoton trained amd limited tennis. His technic is not stylish and everything is based on power, not on natural swing. And his body is the opposite of an athlet, hanging shoulders and x-legs! Jannik is a different league.
Congrat to Sinner!!! To Fritz it was amazing achievement to make it to the US Open Final.
So strong mentally amazi g the best.Jannik the champion😊❤❤❤❤
He demolished Fritz in 2 hours and 15 minutes in the final! WOW!!
Waiting for the comments “Because of doping!!!!!!” ☝️🤓

Last hour: WADA does not appeal. He considered the acquittal for Jannik to be reliable. Serial Hater Cry 😂
Not over yet: Wada has got until the end of September
Unfortunately, Mr Fritz was never on the level to win against top 3, throughout the tournament
sinner simple the best💪
Grande Sinner!!

What you wrote about Fritz's girlfriend is not nice, credit to Sinner who won but Fritz played a great match.

Credit to him. Not many pros can boast a slam final! You are disappointed but honestly taking out Sinner was asking too much
