Thank you! Fortunately for me, I was a manager at this time but our regular guy was away as he just had a newborn so for the week I took care of business haha
I have a friend that works with the same, just in Denmark, Copenhagen airport. He told me that he had a co-worker who apparently didn’t close the valve properly, because it was icy and slippery he couldn’t fasten it. He thought it was, but it wasn’t. So he literally got a shit shower and got sick with E. coli germs as a result. Was in a hospital bed for 4 days getting meds. Not my type of work, but respect to the people out there doing it on the daily!
WoW ! Thanks to you and all the GROUND Crew at all the airports - we can travel in comfort and have a dignified restroom minute. You're awesome! My thanks and appreciation is here for you!

Every job is important. Every worker should be valued no matter what they have to do to earn a paycheck. A travesty in the USA that the CEO of this airline probably makes 600 times the compensation of this gentleman.
@@dezinsekcijaddd689the point is that it's not a job anyone wants to do, but someone has to do it, and you wouldn't have a comfortable flight if they weren't doing this job which is no fun
I'm just glad this guy knows what he's doing. I too work the ramp at Salt Lake City. My coworker the other month was standing underneath it but he forgot to lock down the hose. All that nasty stuff drenched him.
This is definitely a job you want done right, lol. Can say that from past experience when driving past an airport and the plane decided to “service” itself while climbing out. Thankfully it was warm out and the sunroof was closed. Still no good to be on a long flight when the shitter tanks. Wasn’t an issue for me on that one but heaven help some of the other people that were on board.
I knew that this was how it's done. Someone once told me that he really believed it was actually really done in the way we were told in "Joe Dirt", where they dump big clumps of crap from 30,000 ft and it falls to the ground, and some longhaired punk wanderer picks it up thinking it's a meteor, rolls it around in his wagon, eats burgers and fries off of it, and calls it his lucky meteor, lol
I didn't do this job everyday, I was actually a supervisor and I had to cover this day. But I have seen it many times where the coupler wasn't connected properly and it spilled everywhere
@@LifeofAK777 I knew that emptying airplane toilet sewage was done this way shown in the video, and not dumped in big clumps from the plane at 30,000 ft like in "Joe Dirt", lol. I knew someone once who thought it was really done the latter way
Good one. I wanted to see this process from a long time. Is there's any system if the storage is over loaded. Is the thanks flushed regularly. Would be interested to know more about this system.
The truck gets emptied regularly, maybe after 4-6 flights as it varies how much comes out of each, it just gets emptied into a hole in the ground at a designated spot. Kind of like an RV would do

No double tap on the panel. You're the 3 or 4 person in a video not double tapping or even tapping a panel after opening and closing it? Am I missing something?
Video is cut short as I used it for an interview presentation and didnt want to make it a long as I had 12 mins to blow through material, but yes I went back and flushed the tank again because i only used like 2 liters and did everything properly. I always hit every panel that I open and close including cargo doors
