@@shirleypena4133 American's are not accommodating people...we just aren't, unless we come from a Christian household, or from a family with class, values and ethics. 90 day fiance has actually made me so ashamed to be an American because of this topic especially. Other cultures welcome people, and make sure that they're guest is feeling comfortable the entire time that they're visiting. American's are welcoming in nice for about an hour or two, and are usually the worst at welcoming people on the show!

You'll get adjusted to the different climates. I'm from the Caribbean too so you'll get adjusted. Benjamin's family is very nice and they accept you, so don't worry about anyone else. I absolutely agree it was so touching seeing how welcoming they are to her but truth be told she's a well mannered beautiful African woman who wouldn't like her...and I pray she doesn't forget her roots. Stay healthy Akini, avoid all those chemical products on your beautiful skin, try to stick to vegetables - avoid all that process junk they eat there, would hate for you to end up fat and unhealthy. Benjamin needs to change his diet if he wants four kids!

My son in law is from Cape town Africa it's only 3 times in 15 years hes had people say anything racist, mind they get it wrong they think hes Indian because his skin is really light. So we all just laugh, hes wonderful our family don't care what colour personalitie matter more

God has given us a multicultural, multiracial family ( our two youngest are adopted, my daughter Chinese, my son Yugoslavian/Somalian mix), daughters in law French Canadians and Jewish….Getting together for birthdays, baby dedications, holidays….with the in-laws added….is beautiful…..!!

@@mr4533 ummmm NO. You have to understand that Akini has never been to the U.S. before. It's a whole different culture than where she's from. It will take a long time to get used to this new environment. What you see as a "complainer", the rest if us see as someone trying to assimilate to their new surroundings. Remember, this is all new to her.

These two are an amazing couple because their values and upbringing are centered on Christ. I just happen to stumble on this channel and am liking it because I share the same faith in God.
