- For me, this hike is the essence of a Swiss mountain spring. The hike is in the rear Lauterbrunnen valley and for me is one of the most multifaceted hikes of all. But the mountain hike is tough. Lol! Rasta can't control himself in the bach; long walk ahead! I have never walked this way up through the lower valley, only descended via Gimmelwald down to Sefinental and up again over the ridge to Obersteinberg, and down via the ridge to Stechelberg. Your walk is partly new to me!

Wow...Hiking up to Obersteinberg. That is a great adventure that I will never forget. That is a real challenging hike. Even though Rasta is 10 years old if he can hike with you up to Obersteinberg he is in great shape. Greetings from Los Angeles from David & Linda.

Hello Sylvia,probably this is one of the best vido of Lauterbrunnen i ve ever seen,was there last summer in Alpenhof in Stechelberg,but i ve visited only around the valleyi hope to come next Autumn and see this beautifull Waterfall
It won't be maybe that big anymore in autumn because now, it is filled with melting snow 🙃

О, Сильвия, такие виды, захватывающие дух! Да, мне всегда было интересно, есть ли каменные реки в Швейцарии? Да, сегодня я увидела! Где вместо воды - камни! У нас на Урале такие реки называют курумники. Они образовались, когда полз ледник.
Эти камни - след от каменной лавины. Первоначально здесь также был ледник, но он уже давно отступил.

Spectacular, Sylvia!! There aren’t enough words to describe the beauty and I realize we have to be there ourselves and experience it first hand. I’ve been lucky enough to visit your gorgeous country many times but sadly my hiking days are now long gone. I will still do small walks when we hopefully get over there later this year though.
