- The NX SUV's plug-in hybrid variant, the NX 450h+, is roomy, economical on gasoline, and equipped with a ton of driver assistance systems and in-car technology. Its all-electric range of 37 miles also translates into significant petrol savings. Its mediocre performance and utility only keep it from being genuinely outstanding.
I purchased the 2023 model in April of last year. I agree with most of what the video states. One thing I wanted to add is that I've added a 240 V charging station and have rooftop solar. Since we're retired we've only driven the car abot 11,500 miles and I've learned to charge the car only when the sun is shining - the electric company pays me 25% of what they charge for electric consumption. While I get around 40 electric miles when I keep the speed under 65, the car eats much more gas when I push it up to 80 on the highway. One key item to note on this Plug-in Hybrid EV is that gas mileage. I only purchase gas every !,000 miles or so. And I drove the car conservatively so I when I filled up this week, my measured MPG was 131.4. I figure that the car saves me about $80 / month. Of course with the charger and additional cost for the PHEV, it will likely take 10 years to break even. But it's probably the major thing I'm doing for the environment other than recycling.
Thanks for the insight! Enjoy your car, I have the nx350h it’s amazing! I wanted to upgrade to 450h+ but the price is way too high for now
I wondered if it would be possible to move one of the electronic boxes underneath in the trunk to allow for either an inflatable or donut tire to be placed there.. Could any of their mechanics move to allow a spare tire to be put in if I bought a vehicle?I drive cross country with my husband across Arizona , Texas and New Mexico and there are miles where there are no close cities.I believe Lexus should stay with its core mission of reliability and practicality. I do not need a fancy electronic door handle (where you are locked out if electrical or battery system goes out) or infotainment system where I have to go through 2-3 windows to click on air condition system or fan. I just want simple buttons to get what I need without taking my eyes off the road to look at a screen. The inflatable spare tire that Audi has is innovative and practical. Is lexus planning to ever put in a donut spare tire or smaller tire for all the money they are charging?
during winter, i can drive 37 miles only with a full charge, but in the warm weather, i can do 46 miles.
roomy ? I don't agree .The rear seat space is smaller than volvo XC60.

is this channel made by AI? It seems like it just uses a bunch of other reviewers clips and text to speech messes up occasionally...
