Bro I seriously want to cry for you. This is so the life of a mechanic. Remember when we talked about not doing everything over again because the chances of everything going back together with no new problems is so high. Well I’m grateful that you’re showing everyone what we go through so maybe they might be a little more patient and understanding when we are struggling. You are top 10 talented in the powerstroke world, your commitment to excellence is like no one else and is so respected and commendable. You sir will go down as one of the greats. .
Thank you so much,, I would love to think that we have helped others in an exponential way. The last thing I aspire to be is "normal"!!! But the process of issues on this job is kinda "normal" huh??? I have done numerous jobs that didn't need touched once the hood was shut. Others,,, not so much!!! lol
6.0’s and o-rings.😩🤯🤬😱😵💫 That was some very efficient step by step diagnosis and process of elimination to find WHICH o-ring. That is a sweet IPR valve compressed air rig you have. You have the right attitude and the patience of a saint to work on these trucks. Your video was only 23:51 including highway test driving but the amount of careful wrenching to eliminate the standpipe as the problem and get into the HPOP and then button her all back up was a lot of time.
Way to go man, been watching you for a long time. The patience, professionalism and integrity you have shown is 2nd to none. Not to mention that trucks sound is phenomenal!
18:40 is what I'm talking about. When they're singing their song brother. Excellent job finding out that darned HPOP leak there. Hooray time for a week long rest lol. You got run through the clothes wringer on this one for sure.
This last week has been just as strenuous as the last one... lol Can't wait to show you. Been coast to coast... literally!!! I agree that we got wrung out on this one!!! Here's to brighter futures.... 🍻
@@AnthonyYoungblood man if you were on the West Coast and I missed you guys that would be a bummer. We used to call the vehicles that would never leave the shop "lifers". They always either seemed to have another problem pop up, or the owners would run out of money, etc and they ended up just sitting there.
What a bleepin' roller coaster ride, spun belt to boot, give it back before something else gives out, just kidding Ron, lol. Put some tires on it and drive it back. Kudos to you both. Nothing you did caused the signal malfunction. Are you going to follow through confronting the machine shop error? One would think the shop knew about the scrubbed tooth and would have brought it to your attention after balancing. You know your 6.0 Diag skills (and wrenching) are invaluable to the 6.0 community. Don't let this ordeal get the best of you guys. All issues were dealt with and are behind you and Ron has a NEW truck. Thanks for sharing your skills and wisdom.
Hell yeah! Sounds great! I hope you and Julie will celebrate victory after all of this BS 👍 Congrats to you both for reaping the benefits of never giving up. It sucks along the way, but the destination is always awesome 💯
Sure does suck along the way. Lots have happened,, I plan to start the next video showing where we are right now and then show how we got here. I have walked the streets in south carolina and los angeles!!! Actually stranded in la walking with the homeless hiding a stack of cash and a personal protection device... lol
I feel ya! I got misdiagonsed for Lyme disease almost 13 years ago and it almost took me out. I lost everything and had to totally start over so seeing you guys go through this nightmare reminded me of why you NEVER give up or give in. Quitting is easy, anyone can do it, fighting to the end is the only way and you and Julie always win which in turn means your customers win too! Congrats again on the success!
I don't know that I buy into that sentiment,, I caused the issues!!! Lot's going on and I should've been more detailed and focused. The thing I am thankful for,, is Julie and I have done so many of these trucks,, once we start going it turns into a repetition thing. As long as we are comfy in our position,, the 'job" becomes fun. It isn't the trucks fault.. Let's be nice to her.... 😎😎😎
It’s time to write this truck off lol. But replacing a tone ring and not the whole crank is a big ford 6.0 conspiracy theory. If you have to come through tenneseee I’ve got a 6.0 mystery hpo situation. Runs. Just long crank and needs a cooler. Been wanting you do fix it for 3 years. It runs drives starts but for the life of me can’t find the leak short of replacing everything and rebuilding at that point
So much has happened in the last week. I have now traveled coast to coast and are on our way to showing you all what we are doing. Can't wait to get the videos all put together. It really has been a busy time. I got something new to us also,,, It is GREAT!!! The next video I put up will explain where we are... It might be a long one. I just got home last night from Los Angles and my "plan" is in motion!!!! I am kinda leaving you on a cliffhanger I guess huh,, Hopefully once you all know,, you will agree that it is PERFECT!!!!

The exhaust note and the sound of that turbo will never get old. Thanks again, Anthony and Julie, for everything.

Thank you pk!!!! After all the issues we have had,, it was a little breath of fresh air to get to diag a simple no start!!! lol

Your perseverance is inspiring.
You deserve a lot of beer after this! Happy to see nothing catastrophic.

Now THAT'S a pep talk!!!! Help me up and dust off my back,, as I dust myself off!!! lol Thank you Dave!!!!

Ron will be happy too
Awsome build A @ J
That truck is cursed!!!
Yea we have had alot of problems with it! ALOT! But glad it's back so far so good.

I had those crap tires on my tacoma. Never again. Since then we pretty much run all Falken Wildpeaks
What brand was the crap tires?? Should name the brand in the comments so everyone else stays away too???
Hope you both are doing well and enjoying a few days off
I wish AA,,, We have been working harder lately than when we are actually working... lol
@@AnthonyYoungbloodtake care ,have a super day
Oops 8:18....8:25....Those bolts are loose.....You can see a gap between the bolt flange and the fitting......
Overtightened,,, compromising the integrity of the fastener,,, is my opinion... Can't blame anyone bit myself there....
Nice to see.
Holy crap man. More bad luck I slipped one on the rear pulling my camper a few weeks ago. It wasn't pretty.
It gets worse,,,, We have a long story to tell..
Woo hoo , yeah buddy
Just as I sent the woohoo u said u slipped a belt
To be continued.
For sure!!!
Awesome 🎉

Lord thank you Jesus. I was stressing lol.
Hey Anthony haven't heard from you in some days what's going on with that truck.

@@AnthonyYoungblood Okay, thanks for the info.Glad to know things are going good.
I always blew the atr in the valve cover. Same shit different hole . I cant figure out why people keep messing with 6 liters
Not even close to the same shit,,,, pressurizing the icp does not control the ipr. Half assed effort gets half assed results!!! imo
I thought cold side CAC pipes were a no-no. Did those get updated by Ford?
At some point you got to call it quits hate to say it
I'd have to be lying in a freakin ditch to "call it quits"!!!! lol
Soooo glad it was just an oring!
That truck needs an exorcism to get rid of the bad luck!
Keep trying
Either that,,, or give up and crawl in a hole...
A dammed o ring .........😂
When you’re not the 6.0 god
If I was I would NEVER have a problem,,, wave my hand over it and its GOOD?!?!?!? Maybe I can find him and HIRE him?
