It seems like we now have an injection molded caliburn with the M20, and an injection molded TalonClaw with the Valkyrie! Both being much stronger given that the M20 is delrin (I believe) and the Valkyrie being nylon

I quite agree with you on the mags. I don’t have any angled talons, so when I bought this blaster I had no regret because I would be buying new mags anyways

Hey Brad there are 2 o rings on the pusher. Did you swap both of them or only the front one? I swapped the front one but it's still not sealing properly :(
Hey mate, have learnt more about Nerf watching your videos and reading the comments than pretty much anything else. Would love to see a video reviewing/discussing optic and sights. There are so many options out there and I just can't get my head around where/what/why? (and how much?) Cheers Ian
I'd recommend any designed for Airsoft, with the cheapest being around $20-40

Just curious, as the runcam is positioned above your scope, what we see with the crosshair is not what you are actually aiming isnt it? You are actually aiming lower?
I try to align the sight with the run cam using some tape under it.

Hi Brad, I changed my spring to the one from Bui 2.1 spring. The trigger will not release when primed. Does not do this on stock spring. It’s like the rear latch off the trigger does not want to release
I'd suggest you may need to cut a coil off the spring

@@BradleyPhillipsYT The Iron sights are very similar to a model I have on thingiverse. In terms of operating principles, I'd say this is copying a number of other open source makers' designs that I think would warrant attributation as derivative work, such as the assembly of the ram, ram base and plunger as seen on many captain slug blasters, and the prominent magazine release bar which is very similar to an existing talon claw receiver remix.

I was originally against this blaster because of the mags due to the talons I have but I think you may have convinced me in getting one.
For the price and build quality, it isn't too bad, I dose have a couple of issues as you mentioned but easy fix.
I wonder if you can swap out the pusher for a worker prophecy one or the first part of the nexus.

@Red Eagle wow that's pretty good, I just placed my order so ill see next week. I've seen other reviews on this blaster and all said the build was great.
What sold me on this was this review to get it up too 200fps, I'd personally replace the pusher to have a larger ID but that might take some work.
@Red Eagle yes exactly thats my plan to swap out the spring right away but I would definitely try and replace the pusher with a metal one for a larger ID.
Im not a major fan of plastic and skinny pushers with heavy springs, ive had some snap on me.
Im hoping the worker prophecy or nexus pusher works as a replacement as I got a couple around.

New to the hobby and it's looking like it's not a welcoming hobby to get into already.
you can use a 7x2 oring out of the Syneco 225 pce oring set from Bunnings to improve the seal and a pharaoh upgrade spring from blastertech will give a boost in performance

It seems like a good blaster but the rate of fire and reaction time is much slower than the Challenger Mk3.

Hmm.. I don't know about quicker, but it's easier. It's the other set of screws around the QC sticker.
Can the stock be removed and replaced with nerf stocks?
No, and that's pretty much the case with any hobby level Nerf blaster because Nerf stocks aren't very good.
Just got one, swap the pusher oring for the 7x2 oring from Syneco 225 pce set from Bunnings. It works fine so far 😁
CORRECT: 7x2. 8x2 is too big and does not stay.

Conclusion would be biased against how I play which is 300fps+. This blaster is not for me but other people might enjoy it.

i dont think you should be reviewing blasters that arent licensed by the creator, its total crap that scummy people can just steal designs and profit.
I also have the Val-M which is a better version than this and is licensed but costs twice the price. Your point is fair, though I think most people will go for this one due to the lower price point whether I review it or not.
@@BradleyPhillipsYT but if you reviewed the better one without shedding a light on this one, then people like me, who enjoy watching your videos to see what's new would only know of the original creators version, and they'd probably end up with more support to make new things 😊

@Red Eagle someone else is profiting off the hard work of someone else. There are plenty of other, and better options out there that aren't taking advantage of the little guy.
I've made a blaster and put it out there. If someone copy pasted it and made money off my work without cutting me in, I wouldn't put any new blasters I made out there.
It's fun in the short run, but in the long run will cost us cool blasters. What if captain slug stopped sharing his brainchildren after the caliburn because he got ripped? And mr heathpants and meaker never shared their creations with the world because of it? We'd have a cheap caliburn but not all the other awesome stuff they made.
@@zeroblade6599 bruh, the designer lives in Asia how are we, here in the USA supposed to get this blaster without spending $300 on the licensed version? We can get this blaster that’s high quality and capable of hitting 200fps for a fraction of the price at $100
It’s unfortunate, but that’s what Chinese companies do all the time and there’s nothing we can do about it
I will of course also review the Val-M from Black Raisins which is a better blaster than this one. Though twice the price. It's up to the individual whether they would pay $300 vs $100.
