  • Do you wish you could escape to a cozy mountain cabin in the woods and write all day while basking in the beauty of autumn? If so, this immersive writing session is for you. This calming, distraction-free, 2-hour writing session will transport you to a cozy woodland cabin surrounded by autumn trees and the gentle sounds of a crackling fire and birdsongs. Start the day with a cup of tea in the kitchen, listen to the sounds of nature on the front porch, then curl up by the fire as an afternoon thunderstorm moves in with nightfall. We'll use the pomodoro method and do 4 writing sprints (25 minutes + 5 minute breaks in between.) This writing session is designed to inspire creativity and deep focus... Ready to write? Let's get started!
Need some cozy autumn music to pair with this immersive writing session? Here are my suggested playlists:
    🍁 Dark academia fall-inspired instrumentals: open.spotify.com/playlist/62T...
🍁 Gentle and soft light academia piano: open.spotify.com/playlist/2Q6...

I assume she finds free stock videos and adds non-copywrite music in the back. Download the free videos, and download the music. Import the video into any video editing software. Then add the music as either an overlay or just extract the audio and put it over the video. Hope this helps.

I haven't written a short story in so many years. This is the first time that I've tried an immersive writing session, and I was able to rip out 7 really solid pages without any advanced planning of what the story would be. The plot, characters, the setting and the subtext were all harmonizing. I've had a horrible month and it was so therapeutic to be able to sit down and just let the story flow. Thank you!!!

This video is absolutely fascinating! The concept of writing in a cozy autumn cabin in the woods with fall ambiance and timers is truly captivating. It's amazing how the combination of nature sounds, crackling fire, and the pomodoro method can enhance focus and creativity. The immersive experience created by Abbie Emmons is truly unique and inspiring. I can't help but feel a sense of fascination and excitement about the idea of escaping to a woodland cabin and immersing myself in the beauty of autumn while writing. The suggested playlists for cozy autumn music are a fantastic addition, as they add another layer of ambiance to the writing session. Thank you, Abbie Emmons, for sharing this fascinating video and providing such valuable resources for writers. I'm truly intrigued and can't wait to give this immersive writing session a try. I can't thank you enough for this! While writing is the original purpose, I've started listening to these while studying and working on assignments and the passion of writing my stories has magically been carried over to studying calculus, physics, and navigating the endless frustrations of computer programming. It's helped me to enjoy learning these things much more than I already did while also maintaining my energy for my writing side projects. Thank you!

As usual, fanTASTIC job on this!!! I absolutely adore your immersive writing sessions. I get my best writing done while listening to them. I find that the breaks either give me an opportunity to step back and think about what I'm writing, or they interrupt a really good sprint and make me even MORE excited to get back into it! I think this one is particularly unique in it being just ambience, but then providing a few different options for playlists to play alongside it. Very clever! When I get my ideas I always think in the present tense so my scene drafts and plot outlines look like a script for a documentary rather than book chapters. It starts feeling more like a novel once I'm using the intended tense/perspective/voice though.
But I'm still drafting ,so no expert either. In fact I only just started inserting dialogue into my draft very recently.

I you feel stuck or like you said when you look at screen you forgot how to write like novel. Then, try to write on a copy with a pen. It will probably help.
You can draft it on copy and then give a final touch on your Pc or laptop.
      I myself use this technique.

Honestly, this one I don't like as much as your others. I miss the background music, and I had to crank the volume to hear the ambience sounds. The sprints sound too much like the breaks to be distinct, and they were a little too chill to help me personally.
The concept is beautiful, and I like the transitions and the progressions, and I still had a successful writing session, but I prefer the musical energy in some of your other videos.
Even so, this one is better than a pomodoro I tried from another youtuber the other day.
