I’ve worked with security in different businesses and environments and dealt with bomb threats and crisis management situations and the way all these ‘security guards’ dealt with this situation shows they are not really aware of their environment and are not fully trained or experienced in dealing with and handling what potential threats if any are around them. For one they should already know who you are as it’s not the first time you’ve turned up playing the piano let alone your popularity on UA-cam. Plus it shows their inability to deal with more than one issue at a time by all congregating around you meaning the rest of the station is left open to vulnerabilities. Quite embarrassing really

No, only the police have stop and search powers. You would have to consent to the bag search by station staff security. This is why it is normally done by british tranport police who have that power and not station security. I would raise a formal comlaint to the station manager.

No. Simple. Only the police in certain situations can search your bag without your permission.
No, only the police have stop and search powers. You would have to consent to the bag search by station staff security. This is why it is normally done by british tranport police who have that power and not station security. I would raise a formal comlaint to the station manager.
