    3:15 "since minions don't watch enough RatIRL space gliding videos and don't know how to walk between their attacks", implying that they do watch SOME RatIRL space gliding videos, but not enough.

    You are by far the best source of high level league concepts. I've climbed a lot thanks to your videos (gold 2 to diamond 4)

    You might think this a joke, but my geometry teacher was my basketball coach taught me this using Pythagorean theorem.
    “Put him on the diagonal”
    I averaged 25 lol

      Makes a lot of sense to me! But I'm a math teacher myself haha. Basketball is all about finding open space to create smart shots, anywhere you can get separation from your opponents opens up higher % shots, and since the hypotenuse is always the longest side of any right triangle, you wanna be diagonal to your defender when you set up screens and move the ball around.

    I'm a Chall this split played against pros offrole (I play roaming supports like pyke, zac, j4), and still learn more about these concepts thanks to your videos at times. There's always something that people can learn in league, and ik my weaknesses can be crazy in stuff like this, but I overwhelm people with lots of consistent trump plays developed through limit testing. This will help a lot, thanks brother.

      Notably, It's interesting to see how I apply a lot of these concepts, but lack micro content of them that could actually have great impact higher elo

    Amazing video as usual Rogue, the quality really is unmatched. A question I had during your example of Ahri vs. Ziggs, what can the Ahri do, if the Ziggs spaces her W and positions himself using the technique you outlined in this video? It seems like in a same skill level master v master matchup with these champs, Ziggs just hard shoves Ahri in. Does Ahri simply need to wait until 6?

    Huh, that's interesting, I had no idea this was a high level concept, it's just something I intuitively picked up while learning Vlad mid. I never learned it while playing top lane because that place is unga bunga me attack.

      I'm very low elo. Bronze IV currently. But I've learned this playing top lane. Granted some players just try to run at you no matter what. But positioning in relation to minions is a good thing to pay attention to all the same, and is highly matchup dependent. I've noticed that level 1 into difficult matchups I can sometimes gain push advantage by spacing to always be on the opposite side of the wave to my opponent and auto attacking minions to force my opponent to chose between trading or hitting minions themselves. And if I can score a free hit or two when they are last hitting and hit level 2 first for the all in... Lanes basically over, just slowly build off that lead from there.

    I always had one doubt in mid-lane and ADC also (Those are the roles I play the most), thought I was a little dumb, but this seems so hard to me. That was, I wasn't able to manage trade and farm at the same time, it was just too difficult. When I hit minions, enemy starts trading, and when I start trading, minions were in the middle a lot of times, making trade more difficult. Since I watch this video, problem solve. Ty 😊

  • @joshefrags5471
    @joshefrags5471 2 місяці тому +1

    positioning isn't entirely why he isn't getting poked out.. It is simply because he isn't greedy for minions and only last hitting when TF needs to giving no trade out come..

    • @Bebolife12345
      @Bebolife12345 14 днів тому

      You have it the other way around. His compliance to hit the wave does not stop him from taking damage, he is melee. He has to position first and foremost AND THEN use the timing of the minions.

    • @joshefrags5471
      @joshefrags5471 14 днів тому

      @@Bebolife12345he doesn’t even have to position in this match up you just trade with timers and win the lane

    What a great explanation to this concept... Wow!
    That just gave me an idea. With Neeko you can W to "be on both sides" while the enemy doesn't know if they're on the same side now or opposite - giving you the advantage (for the 3 seconds haha)

  • @milk8979
    @milk8979 3 місяці тому

    no offense but this isnt how pros play. also your example in botlane doesn't make sense either. if you're in higher elo and take that trade on senna 10:15 you'd literally get auto'd by vayne and xerath q'd or whatever ability he used. for anyone reading this comment and trying to take this entire "concept" and theory into account, you should NOT be doing this and should be on the side that YOUR jungler is on and opposite of where the enemy jungler is at. you're quite literally setting yourself up for terrible positioning by switching which side you are playing on by making yourself vulnerable to ganks/disengages from enemy support roams.

    hey coach rogue. i just want to say i enjoy your videos alot. but i need explaining. I'm otp jhin and i know my kit very well and my matchups. But how am i supose to win games when my support doesn't know the matchup? How can i win games if as soon as they die i tell them what they need to do in order for us to win the matchup or not feed and they tell me to shut up and keep on trying to win impossible fights? How can i rank up when my teammates as soon as I missplay ping me and call me acoustic? How am I suppose to rank up when i rotate mid to help mid with my root or r, or i rotate mid after i take bot tower to get more platings or to get tower or even fight for herald and my team simply doesn't comprehend what i am doing? I am in the verge of uninstalling league because it is a team game and people are too much selfish when they should be selfless in such a big reward teamplay game. I peaked emeral 2(not saying it is good) and had 73 wr with jhin and over 4.1 kda(i know kda means 0) and now i am almost plat 1, have litte more than 55 winrate. Just last game i was ahead i was 12-3 i was telling my team what to do, told them exactly prepare baron ward clear vision and they tried to fight sejuani when no lane was pressured!!! i was the only one pressuring mid to make sure our waves crashed tower my top was dancing in baron with their wave in our t2 tower and mid aswell!! i simply can't. i don't know what i am doing so wrong. it hurts because i'm sure there is alot i can improve but there isn't much i can do when the enemy toplaner is10-0 and 1shots me.

      Hey! There is a video by Skill Capped called "Hector's HIT AND RUN Strategy that Makes ADC EASY!" and it helped my mate and me a lot for soloQ. While it is true that you should play with the team, this does not fully apply to lower elo. In high elo your teammates know what to do and how to do it together for the most part. But in lower elo you have to play around and with monkeys. This is why a right play in high elo can actually be a wrong play in low elo. You cannot rely on your team, you need to carry yourself. This is also the reason why specific champs are just better for carrying in lower elos.

    Other challengers say not to stay behind wave cause in one Q ahri can hit champ+push wave
    This guy is just bad at juking and aiming, that's why he wins when u are with the wave cause he can't miss the Q. Your ahri teaching here makes nonsense except for shielding from charming.
    Otp ziggs would push wave while juking, then start harassing you while you are under the tower
    5:08 missing this shows that the opponent is clearly bad

      I feel like this video tries to make an overarching concept out of something that doesn't really exist that way. So for example: its true that you do want to stand behind your caster minions to avoid getting traded on as a melee champion. On top of that, if you are playing against Ahri, it also makes sense to use minions to block her charm.
      But he could have also just said that. There isn't really more to it.
      My peak is like master tier and I play Syndra, and instead of thinking about this mirroring strategy, I think about "do I need to stand inside, behind or beside the wave". And I feel like that is much less confusing than this. Because on which side of the lane you stand relative to the enemy doesn't really matter that much, as long as there is a minion between you and the enemy.
      This concept only makes sense in the way that he explains it if you are playing against Orianna. Then you constantly have to switch to the opposite side of her ball.

    For bot lane, what if the adc (such as vayne) is against double ranged or double poke? For example Cait/Ashe or Jhin/Zyra. Can you use this concept or lane brushes in any way?

    • @maxisalas5249
      @maxisalas5249 3 місяці тому

      Also this strategy is based on you have vision so when u move so obviously from one way to the other the jungler isnt waiting u there.

    • @HanyuuHOLO
      @HanyuuHOLO 3 місяці тому

      @@maxisalas5249 Most of the times you'll only have vision on 1 side of the lane though, I think the video should've at least mentioned that applying this strategy consistently demands decently good jungle tracking. Many lower elo players may just randomly start doing this, dying half of the time, and not understanding why... because they're skipping fundamentals just to apply the concept
