(No, I am not making any of this up.)

Something about Trumpy speaking in John Hurt's Elephant Man voice makes the potato riff indelibly memorable. That and the kitten savaging his snout throughout the scene.

I love how the English dub over actors portraying the kids mother abs grandfather sound typical cliche North American (especially the grand fathers voice) ..and the child’s dubbed over voice has a more Euro accent. I love MST3K and Pod People is a classic!

What's with that strange voice effect they're using on the dubbed voices? My older cousin used to enjoy Smurfs on Saturday, and it's similar to the metallic slightly higher pitched filter they used in that show. Adds to the nightmare fuel here, so it's cool.

The movie "Pod People" aka "Extra Terrestrial Visitors" was unleashed upon the unsuspecting world way back in 1983, and Niki didn't start doing voiceover work until 2008.
That's a woman dubbing Tommy's voice, but it's not Niki. I'm so sorry if I busted your bubble!
