Thank you for this. Because of your instruction, I saved almost $600. I was able to retrieve the GPS location of the Solo when I lost contact on a farm 48 hours ago. I went out there this afternoon with the GPS coordinate from the last waypoint, and I FOUND THE BIRD!! 48 hours later in the Florida heat and storms, and it was still intact. I think it will still fly. Looking at the footage, I flew too low, and the crash was spectacular.

It so tough being tech-challenged like myself! Just realized that I couldn't do the fly-thru unless I use your method. The reason I couldn't load the file was because it was in my work shared-network, as soon as I copied it to my computer hard drive it works great, thanks again!

I did this to find my solo that dropped out of the sky for no reason, and I used the controller but I couldn’t review the log in Mission Planner, it’s not there even after I imported it

I was doing great until the root folder of the controller showed 0 bytes, also couldn't find the SOLO wifi signal to connect to, had to try with the controller, any suggestions?
    Thanks !!!

Hi!Thanks heaps for your video, it's opened up a lot of possibilities for me.I have only just begun working with solos and mission planner and haven't got a great deal of knowledge. I did encounter a problem with getting the .gpx file into google earth via the tool menu, it said that it could find the file, but there is an alternative I believe. I went into my hard drive where the .kmz is stored and just opened the .kmz file then google earth opened automatically and the file appeared in the window on the left and of course on the map. It looked a bit strange at first, lots of vertical lines from the flight path to the ground but if you go into the files properties you can play around and adjust the settings and get the same result. I think your way is simpler, it was just out of necessity for me.THANKS!
