Randall hating veggies is so funny bc i can see his mom bringing him a happy meal to the restaurant with his extended family.
When I saw the title I expected to see some of these:
Rendang (malay/indonesian)
Any masala (indian)
Any Gaeng dish (Thai)
Fish ball curry (Hongkong)
Kulma (Philippines)
Karee (Japan)
Not 3 Japanese curries and a whack thai red curry.
I definitely thought there was going to be different styles of curries haha
I think the closest version of curry is gulai or gule not rendang. It more similiar to Indian curry rather than rendang because rendang is dryer and has stronger taste dan aroma due to very slow and long cooking process. Like they ware family of curry but distant relatives.

I live in South east asia and this is painful to watch, when they state "each others curry" I expected Indian, Malay, Thai, Chinese curry, boring competition should change the title to East Asians rate each others Japanese curry

The word 'curry' originates from the Tamil word 'kari'. So having no representation from South Asians and titling the video as "Asian..." is just 🙃🙃🙃.
Curry is from all over Asia, none of these curries are South Asian anyway.

@@SantomPh Glad that curry is eaten in many countries from Japan to Jamaica, I have no issues with that. My issue is with the title, all four of them are from East Asia. Why title it Asia, if there is no South Asian representation, esp because S.A. is the place where curry originated from?? Not talking about appropriation here, so no flag waving happening.
Where I come from we call it 'kare'... So I suppose it is debatable as where it originally came from. But it's okay, Asian shares so many similarity, culture wise ❤️

When it's a video with an Indian they title it south Asian (if we are lucky) but if someone's Chinese for example they put just Asian alone too. At least specify they are East Asian too. To put it simply, in Asia it involves, eastern Asians, western Asians, central Asians and so on its not hard to recognise this 😆

Btw a huge miss on the explanation of where the origins of curry/karri actually came from and that is from Tamil Nadu India. Not all Indian or South Asian food is called curry it just boils down to sheer laziness by those not wiling to find out the actual name of said dishes. It would be like labelling any Italian dish pasta.

I think this is the first video ive ever disliked. Seriously four east asians make curry three of which is japanese curry, and a "thai curry" (air quotes) from a guy whos not even a fan of curry? Where is the indian curry (the origins of curry!), cambodian curry, thai curry, asia has so many different curry dishes!! Who approved this video? Who directed this? And even let someone order a dish? Videos like this make people think that east asian countries are the only asian countries. How come there are videos that says south asians but the videos that are labeled "asians" or "asian americans" there are usually only east asians? I hope u guys are not ashamed of us south asians and southeast asians to help represent asia 🤨
