- North Carolina Baseball and West Virginia Baseball played in game 2 of the Chapel Hill Super Regional in the 2024 College Baseball Postseason. North Carolina would advance to the College World Series with a win, while West Virginia needed a win to force a winner take all game 3 on Sunday night.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

I agree it’s a bad call but it’s not THAT bad I mean the knob of the bat went half a foot past home plate and the end of the bat went halfway across home plate so not terrible, should have appealed tho

Vance Honeycutt is incredible. Never seen a player like him to impact a team like that

Dang, I guess we now know why Angel Hernandez retired from the MLB, because I can only assume that it was him behind the plate for this game. The kindest word I can find to describe that umps performance in these highlights would be “uneven.”
I would be shocked if Major league squads in the top 15 don’t take a chance on Honeycutt’s upside.

I knew it! I predicted the cheating before it started. Umpires got a little extra cabbage after this one. Very obvious bad calls with the game on the line. I'm a proud WVU fan and I don't mind taking a loss, but not when it's not fair.
