- The London Air Ambulance attends the scene of a serious accident where a woman was hit by a car, First the Air Ambulance lands in a school car park in Nightingale Road then takes off and lands at the Hertford Road Junction in Edmonton.

No big surprise paramedics in the UK taken the next step in the Air ambulance Service they learned to fly helicopters at their own expense,now that's dedication and commitment to a job!!!
I never realized that the first video of the helicopter taking off was filmed through a tiny grate in the fence. That’s actually very clever and the video came out amazing! Nice job!!
I had the camera lens right next to the fence as i did not want the fence in the way , thanks for watching.

I have another Air Ambulance video at different location where i had 2 fences in the way but i put my camera through the first fence and had to quickly remove it when the helicopter flew over me.

EMS veteran here. We’ve had landing zone training for years from helicopter emergency services personnel. My concern is watching them come in on approach. There was a ton of that perimeter, marking tape blowing all over the place. What if that were to have broken loose and blown back toward the helicopter and got sucked into an engine cowling? They never trained us over here to secure a landing area with tape. Anybody from the helicopter community in here care to sound off on this? Just from a safety standpoint part of this video is highly concerning to watch.

The woman is alive but in a critical condition.

I sure hope the patient that is being taken by the helicopter isn’t on the brink of death! That took a long time to get in the air!!!!
Before i filmed the London Air Ambulance i was shopping at the local asda store and as i was cycling past the accident scene i saw a shocking scene of the woman laying in the road where she was hit by the car there was blood next to her , i hope she survived and i feel for the family who received a call or visit from the police to inform them.
It would still be quicker than by road, but if you read the text you'll see that they were only repositioning so various permissions would have to be obtained to do so. Also these guys are a hospital in the air and are brilliant, she wouldn't have got any better treatment in hospital, on the second start up they were probably doing life saving treatments to prepare her for the flight.

I never laugh when something like this happens as it's all to serious which is why i did not zoom in when the patient was been put inside the air ambulance as i respect the patients privacy.
