I’m a single mom and photographer, trying like the dickens to do this entrepreneur thing while still working a full time job. My boss recently left, and she was my mentor, biggest supporter, and the one who had my back. When you started talking about that during this episode, tears started streaming uncontrollably. The change sucks, but the feelings it’s giving me are a pattern I’ve dealt with for years - abandonment, vulnerability, and “unsafe”. Thank you for giving me tools to start to reframe this pattern ❤️

Rachel I took many pages of notes during this episode I was absolutely hooked once I heard the story about the cardinal and hearing you talk feels like we are besties having a sleepover party this is what I love to talk about and learn about. Resilience is something I am learning first hand, I left my abusive husband of 8 years with three children and I have never felt more FREE. We are going through a divorce and everyone tells me how strong they think I am and how brave and people look at me differently, inspired even.. but all I did was LISTEN to that voice, that intuition.. that is what lead me out of the house safely with my children and with only the clothes on my back and a little cash I felt like the richest woman in the world. All I could see was the love in my heart, the endless possibilities ahead of me, the health of my beautiful sons, and truly grateful for my abusive husband for teaching me the most powerful lesson I have ever learned in 31 years.. and that is to HONOR myself. At the most fundamental level I was dishonoring myself.. my feelings, my words, my actions none of it was in alignment with my SOUL and for the first time I SPOKE my TRUTH and it’s like a tumor got surgically removed from my throat- I can speak. I finally found my voice! Now I sing all the time. I talk to friends and family I’ve been isolated from for 8 years about my TRUTH I’m not afraid to say NO I’m not in fear of anyone’s judgement because I KNOW I am being divinely guided on this journey and for ONCE I trust myself because I feel magic and miracles ALL around me it’s impossible not to cry multiple times a day when I just look around and see the FREEDOM and PEACE of a safe home without someone having power over me, belittling me, degrading me, desperately seeking their validation, attention and love that they were incapable of giving. I learned I have to be the person to love MYSELF the way I wanted other people to love me my entire life! So everyday I show myself acts of love, I speak acts of kindness and forgiveness and patience to myself, I give myself gifts, I make time to use my creativity to do what I love which is to write and to make goals for my future. Life is SO freaking beautiful when you choose to believe that life is happening FOR you. And like gabby says “the universe has your back” believe it!!! Thanks Rachel, I hope to meet you in person one day 💗✨🦋
