Do you happen to know if I have one key and want to program another, do I have to go through all these steps or can I just go straight to the programming? My Autel is telling me how to do it (put key in slot for 15 minutes) but not how to tell if the alarm is active.

No, you just make sure alarm is off with key and then go through the "add key" functions without worrying about doing the alarm stuff
