I Got Every Achievement in Dark Souls At LEVEL 1

- Can I 100% Dark Souls Remastered without leveling at all? Dark Souls achievements require almost 3 full playthroughs, and doing it without leveling is going to be a challenge. Here's the thing, I like Dark Souls, I like achievements, and I like hard challenges. SO Lets see if I can beat Dark Souls at level 1, and earn every achievement while doing it! This will be my first Dark Souls challenge run!
If this does well I'll do the same challenge in Elden Ring to celebrate The Shadow of The Erdtree release!

I like to do runs off camera so I can pop it in when needed, but people really enjoy the live challenges. I definitely want the video experience to be different than the live experience, so I'm glad it was enjoyable even with the stream content mixed in!

Fun fact about the ending, you actually don’t need the lord vessel to fight the four kings so you didn’t need to fight ornstein and smough for the dark hand
I thought I remembered needing the lord vessel to speak with Kaathe, but that's cool to know that I was wrong!

Something tells me you could dominate Elden Ring. Don't give up!
Maybe try a later souls game, dark souls 1 is usually harder for newcomers from my experience, even i quit it, but eventually decided to try dark souls 3, and i absolutely loved it, it's still my extremely close 2nd favourite game of all-time. I also actually ended up playing the series in reverse order but it was a still blast. DS1 does fall off quite hard in the second half, since it unfortunately had to be rushed to meat deadlines. Still better than a lot of games though.
Also i should add, dark souls 2 (the vanilla version which is also on steam, not scholar of the first sin edition which changes level design mostly for the worse) is also usually seen as easier, and while features like adaptability aren't great, levels are so cheap anyway that you can usually get it to level 25 pretty early while still focusing on other stats.
And dark souls 3, while being more fast paced, is also much easier at least early on in my opinion, ramping up in difficulty at an extremely fair way as you progress imo, with the only spikes really being pontiff sulyvahn (who i didnt personally struggle with but a lot of people did) and the dlc.
And if you want to try elden ring, give it a go, now is a better time than ever to start it, and while i dont agree with it being the easiest, even if you can get to high levels early (people seem to not consider that new people often dont know every upgrade material and useful/cheesy item's location) but i tried it after finishing the dark souls series and had a great time with it.
The only thing that keeps you from becoming hollow is not giving up, if your character respawns it is for the sole purpose of making you try again, if you give up in the face of such insignificant adversities what will happen when you face bigger adversities throughout your life? at least for me Dark Souls changed my perspective on how to face problems and I hope this comment will encourage you to finish such an incredible game.

Something about the entire journey of 100%'ing Dark Souls at Level 1 including farming and 2.5 playthroughs being 41 hours when the average Elden Ring Playthrough before the newly added DLC is like 60.
Yeah, in total it's probably close 100 hours now.
It was a different time back then. They definitely changed the formula for the newer games

Honestly, i would definitely suggest for anyone trying out ds1 sl1 runs, dont use the pyromancies unless really necessary. Learning the patterns and going through the game truly revitalises it after your first few normal runs, like the O&S fight is just genuinely beautiful when you get the hang of it, aswell as all the dlc bosses. But play the game as you will and most importantly have fun during it
I really enjoyed doing the SL1 runs, and I agree with you that it feels fantastic to get it done. If anyone is doing all the achievements I would definitely recommend using Pyro. It speeds up the process a ton, but definitely play the game in the way that maximizes fun. That's a great point
@@morgansbasement yeah, with all the achievements it’s completely understandable to use pyromancies, cus without it ng+ becomes wildly too difficult and it just expedites the process

@@morgansbasement I know it! Im generally a fan of fantasy but I rarely play RPGs. I think my most played RPG is GTAV and I mainly got into that through the cars. Halo also I guess but thats more FPS.

While it isnt 'easy', soul level one, and especially in the first game, actually isnt as hard as it sounds, the only hard part is being one or two-shot by a lot of things, he seems to have decided to handicap himself by not getting his axe upgraded to +5 before going to blighttown
Also pyromancies in ds1 and 2 are extremely powerful

To be fair, every souls game is as simple as just don't get hit. The hardest part is planning out the route, and knowing when to sequence things for achievements

If you get there after getting the lord vessel, Solaire is there and lets you skip faith requirement
At least that's how it worked in Prepare to Die Edition, but I see no reason for it to be removed

New challenge idea, get all achievements for dark souls without dying once, so basically have all achievements except the die for the first time. That would be a flex to show people that you have every achievement except the first one 99% of people get

Great video, how come some language is censored and some isn’t? Is there a limit to how many times you can swear before it becomes adult content or something?
TBH I swear way too much when I'm live streaming, and I just try to break up consecutive swears with bleeps every 5ish. It can help avoid the long arm of the youtube law. Some times it's for comedic effect, other times it's for getting too creative with my swears lol

you skipped over a bunch of stuff in this, like getting a second red slab in the first playthrough which either means trading an ascended pyro glove or farming for it. Nevermind a second blue slab, I think there's only a second one in the DLC?
Both of those slabs are farmable btw. The drop chances are low, but they can be farmed. To avoid having to wait for the 2nd blue and 2nd red slab, I just dashboarded and used the same slab, it's all in the livestream vod if you'd like to watch. I just wanted to pop the achievements in NG so I could use the clips in a rapid fire montage, but realistically, it only saved about 10 minutes of running to the slab locations in NG+
@@morgansbasement fair enough, I did my achievements on PTDE and just frampt-duped the slabs in NG, but had already used my Red Slab when I did that AND managed to mess up getting a second pyro flame from Eingyi too lol
I didn't even know you could dupe things with Frampt in PTDE. I think 100% in 2012, so I can't remember if that was something I knew about back then. But losing the slap like you just said would be brutal 😂. I feel for you

tbh I'd never heard of this game before but looks okay. bad graphics, and controls seem janky, so the difficulty is kinda artificial.
You've never heard of this game?? I'm actually surprised haha. The controls are actually really tight, and the difficulty is in learning boss patterns and timing invincibility rolls. The only bit of artificial difficulty was doing it at level 1 haha. Also, the game is close to 15 years old, so that would explain the graphics. I highly recommend the souls/bloodborne/elden ring games. I think you'd like them a ton
