Milwaukee, WI ACA Hurricane Alert/Attack - 12/13/2023

Decided to play hooky from work and drive up hear and finally this thing. I know there's already a ton of videos of this thing but needed to put the Noie/Burns tree touch on it. Also appears as if Milwaukee has been getting better about testing since getting chewed out on Facebook. No chance of them not testing today though thanks to the rare December sunshine in Wisconsin. Siren is located at Milwaukee Fire Station 39 at W Bradley Rd and 81st and is tested second Wednesday of the month at 12PM. Also did a little siren hunt afterwards and all of the old stuff is still up for those that are wondering.

Actually there's a few more standing in Texas but they are disconnected. This is the only city operated hurricane in the U.S.

I’ve never liked the hurricanes. The super fast windup is terrible. Looses some of the great Erie siren terror that other sirens have with their more ominous slower windups.
