"Innocent" at the VMAs gave me the chills. The performance was dramatically authentic. Forget about the Kanye business. This was a performance that could pull the heart string of anyone. A woman (make up, dress read older) consoling a spouse after a big failure or misstep is what came across. Pure Country! I'm not usually a country fan, but I loved this performance.
