I just got into collecting with 151. The cheapest I found to get cards is buying bulk on eBay. Got reverse/holo/commons for $150 and then picked up the EX's for $30. Now just hunting singles for everything else!
Don’t buy cards on eBay unless you like getting scammed. Packs can be weighed and there’s a high chance you’re buying rubbish because of it. Trust no one
@@Boats_2001i only buy single cards
What do you need? I'm looking for silver tempest . I too started collecting with 151 but it's to hard to find not at resale value.
@criminal_ds "buying bulk cards" nobody said anything about buying packs lol😅
@@Boats_2001packs cAn be weighed but hes buying singles so hes most safe if hes buying from the right seller @whythehec if you’re a female, sorry, I’ll edit it
Thanks for your help!! Recently got back into the collecting hobby and my gosh it's expensive but so much fun!!
This is do helpful. New to the hobby and that confirms what I was thinking regarding how to get the sets for cheep as I'm very much on a budget. Thanks
Going for the gen 3 sets. Wish me luck
Good luck!!! 🍀
how does someone from uk get usa / australia exclusive boxes cards etc like , eb games, gamestop stamps , walmart exclusive boxes
Thanks Joe. I’ve been out of the game for a few years now, after having kids! Feeling itchy to get back into it. Trying to decide when and where to jump on. Completely missed 151 :( take it easy
The easy answer is **not** the fun one. For me it's the not knowing that's exciting then when you hit something, you get that rush of happy brain juice and the pride of knowing "Yes, it was ME that pulled this..." But I get reasoning behind the easy answer. It just feels like someone else does the work and gets the experience and that's not fun for me.
Fantastic advice. Thanks so much.
Great video! Where can I find your players buy list mentioned in the video? I like the idea of knowing ahead of alot of the market exactly which cards are likely to go bonkers. Cheers
This was very clear and helpful. Thank you
Great video, very informative. Thank you 😊
I started collecting like a month ago, im confusing that what is cards price at the moment? Should i check from prize chart or where? So confusing for collector who just starting collecting 🤭
I would use TCG to see market value for cards!
Do what I did to complete my master binder of 151 series....I opened a premium collection mew (16 packs), a zapdos box (4 packs) and added 15 booster packs. I was able to get most of the regular holos, and commons/uncommons, some of the reversed (but completed all the non-EX ones. Was also able to get a couple of SIR, a few IR znd full arts....and just bought my missing ones as singles. I needed the zapdos and mew boxes for the promo. I couldn't get ap hold of the snorlax etb apt the time, but the snorlax promo is cheap. I also bought the promos of abra, kadabra, alakazam as singles. And just recently bought the kangaskhan ex battle deck to complete the promos (yeah, missing the charmander, squirtle and bulbasaur promos, but I am working on it).
Is there a US equivalent to cardmarket?
TCG player.
