This islands is one hour flight East from Bali you fly to Labuhan Bajo!There are many nice Hotel near the airport on the beach too!

The boat you are using is called the Phinisi Ship, which is a boat from the Bugis tribe of South Sulawesi Province and the Indonesian Phinisi Ship is a UNESCO world cultural heritage. there is even a 2x larger size that you use on the video
No, I don’t think that our boat had that name
It is not a name for the ship, actually phinisi is a type of traditional sail ship identical to bugis tribe. There is also Sandeq (Mandar Tribe), Jukung, Kora-kora, etc. The one phinisi boat you used for LOB (Live on Board) at Labuan Bajo is modernised phinisi, which run by diesel engine (they usually use an used truck engine). But when you onboard, ask the cap to use pure sail to run the ship, and feel the serenity, quiet, and nice beach vibes on the sea, especially at afternoon when dinner are served.

started from Labuan Bajo harbor as all Komodo tours, i don’t remember company because our friends organized it, price was smth around 24 mil idr
