Thanks, keep up the learning. You can earn a good living understanding and reading drawings, selecting tooling, programming the machinery as well as being able to measure your result. I wish you well. David
Very good job but I think it should be a two person job, it's it seems to be a heavy part even if is 20 ga is too long you could got hurt be careful body
I have to say- that's a 1 person job if they're not expecting speed. I tell you this though,, getting that spot on was a hell of a job. -Setting each one of those wedges (possibly) to get the angle uniform down the line (within tolerance), getting those Back Stops dead equal, and the sum of bends together not being too short or long also varying if that sheet was cut or stamped correctly, ,Was a pain in the Ass!
Yeah this was painful to watch, I understand 100% that it's a tough one man job though. I get wanting to check each side, but it's tough to get a great part that long without a second person; preferably someone who has an idea of what they're doing. In the shop I work at it's rare, if ever, that a single person has to do a job that long and wide to do that many bends on a part. Getting on the back gauges perfectly every time, on the correct flange? Those who know, know. Not an easy part. I hope I explained well enough to not come off as a jerk, you really did a great job for one person expected to do this part alone!
If there are high surface finish requirements when edge bending/press brake, the Swedish product Tribotextil™ can be applied in the bending/pressing tool and mechanically protect the sheet metal from scratches and other damages. Tribotextil™ is an extremely thin and very strong textile that in this process replaces lubricants in the tool.
Hi, to reset or enter the parts required or finished parts press stop. Then on the automatic mode page use the touch screen by pressing the box required and enter the numbers etc. I will upload a short video on this channel. Thanks for your interest
I would have set that stop a little earlier and a touch slower! That's a Great way to get a Close, Rough shave. I really want to get back to doing this.
Not familiar with Hardox but the data for bending a 500mm long 20mm thick stainless steel plate using a 160mm V is 500kN which is approx 50 tons according to the data available on my Amada Hfe M2 2204. Hope that's of use
Thanks, I work mainly with stainless steel for building drainage. From small brackets and more complex components. That lasered blank after folding becomes part of channel which is joined to other channels, gullies or outlets.
I don't know where you are from ,i live in Mexico , I am so amazed when i see the effort that the American people put into there products , I wish that we had the quality of everything you guys have in America ,cheers keep up the good work .
In an 8 hour shift it would be around 50 parts at 3M lengths. Luckily I have other duties in the workshop. Getting too old to perform heavy work like that all day, every day.
После китайского видео где на таком же станке выполняют работу 2 работника наши мастера и умельцы работающие по 1 человеку действительно кажутся роботами-универсалами:))) Хотя все же это и нарушение ТБ и возможные браки изделий... Но кому это важно:)?
No way i would of eyeballed those last bends. Set the backguge to come up to flange just above the radius. Been bending architectural facias for years. Once you have your part dialed in you can use a tape or square off the front for quick reference also. Those flip flop panels are the worst.
Thanks for your comment. Yes I do programme and operate the press brake myself on up to 3M in length, sometimes longer. An experienced operator can easily feel if the metal hass correctly located on the back stops.
I'm a Amada Press brake Operator almost the same metal bending but it's not good for 1 person to do your work ..very unsafe.the metal is good for 2 person.
Thanks for your comment. I have a large range of parts to make, some can be very small. I don't bend 3M lengths all day long, a lot of setting and programming

are you selling that or you just talking crap.
@@emirbila9958 We are selling.
gracias muy bonita experiencia ver esa maquina trbajando
Thank you. It's good to have positive feedback from people interested in the manufacturing industry
What’s he doing at the end? Making sure he is hitting the gauges.?
Amada's are great machines.
I agree, very reliable and accurate 👍
Informative Video David
If I am tracking this machine, how do I track the part count

Тут явно необходимы вспомогательные упоры, на которые кладут деталь, какие имеются на Finn Power

Whats the power needed to bend 20mm hardox 450?

@@davidlarter8231 Length> 2000mm. I need that to form buckets for Komatsu mining equipment, they're made of Hardox 450 wear plate. V 165
@@frizerbee As per Trumpf Bend Guide on V 150, 20 mm Hardox 450 requires 6,119 kN of Force per Meter & on V 200 its 4,337 kN of Force per Meter.
Hay you did a great job on that piece of metal , hay if you don't mind me asking what thats use for ?

@@davidlarter8231 usually we do this kind of work together with a colleague and it takes less time.

hey Arnel if I have to track the part count in this machine could you suggest the best way to do so
Hii I am Abhishek Singh from India... I Need a Job.. plzz help me David..
Bend sequences were in the wrong order, which cause too much unnecessary lifting and flipping and slowed production.
yep fuck that many flips and spins lol. and doin that part with one person you get about a year before your body says no more
Iam also CNC Bending mechina operator
