Yes, safety is paramount for this machine. The big safety features are the palm switches that must be activated by both hands in order to jog the ram down to the safety plane (where a hand or finger can't be caught between the punch and die). From here, the brake can be foot pedal operated.
On this sample part being made. just say on the design, if the dimensions called are for two 1" bends. How do you calculate the second bend location on the backstop? In the video, the part is touched off on an outer most edge of the first bend. Is this normal practice on any brake? Also since this is a cnc machine. Can designs be imported from cad software? Fusion. Solidworks etc?
I don't like that the leg kit is an option. What else are you going to do with the thing? Prop it up with cinder blocks. Should be part of the machine....Or....... What would be cool from Langmuir is a set of leg/base schematics for those folks that just owned the brake. A better set of schematics if you owned the brake and a table. Then a whoop ass base for all three machines.
I own your Crossfire XL Plasma table. I cut out blanks for electrical cabinets. I need a press brake of my own so I don't have to out source my boxes. I have the Wilson Quick change clamps and I use Wila OZU-352 bottom dies which are 100mm tall at the shoulder. My top punch is a Wila 200mm tall knife Die and then you add the Wilson Quick Clamp and you have 400mm total height. The opening looks to be too small for deep box bending. I would have to fabricate a frame that would have a larger opening. Can you please do a walk around and show more of the machine. Can you bend a box with is 9 inches deep, 20" wide x 26" tall? Then I would buy this machine.
Hello, we can bend 16 meters of single piece sheet metal. You have a press brake. Our stock of 2000 tons of sheet metal is very large. Those who want to work with us can contact us.
NEED A VIDEO OF THE CONVERSATIONAL SOFTWARE!
Any safety features? Light curtain or anything? Also what's the big handles sticking off the side of the rams?

How thick will this unit bend?

Were those holes cut with a plasma machine? They look clean and sharp.

Also, what’s the height from the floor to the bed of the machine? I don’t want to strain my back too much on a small machine.
With our optional stand, the table height to ground is 36".
So excited!
Is this machine available in Europe (specifically France in my case) ?
Going to have to get one.
Nice

I like the sound
Can I use standard American style punches and dies?
Yes sir.
Is the punch and die made out of aluminum?
Hardened and surface ground Chromoly steel
haha wtf are aluminum dies
They appear to be extruded aluminum. That is why I asked the question. Didn’t make sense to me either.@@Steve-rr8bj
