I just want to say how much I enjoyed this video .I watched the whole two hours straight through. You are a great instructor. So clear, no rushing through the instructions, the camera angles and the lighting was great. It's truly the best tutorial on crocheting a sweater than I've ever seen and believe me, I watched a lot of Harry Styles lately on how to crochet his sweater. YAY -- I JUST FINISHED (I have 2 businesses so that's why I had to squeeze in my crochet therapy time. I will post pictures of mine ASAP -- I used 60% cotton / 40% acrylic, size 3 yarn, size 4mm hook -- otherwise my stitches were too sloppy with this 3-weight yarn -- due to being in California, I didn't want it to be too heavy. They sell these sweater/coats at Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales retail price = $895 on up!!! THANK YOU, NADIA -- COULD HAVE NEVER DONE THIS WITHOUT YOU AND YOUR DAD!!!!!!

I love your detailed instructions. In the early 1970’s my mom crocheted for me a granny square vest, reminiscent of your piece. Fashions DO repeat themselves.

I'm making my first cardigan thanks to you I used a 5.5 hook but I'm a big girl so I used extra squares to make my sizes and for my arms I'm going to single crochet down a few rolls can't wait to move on to another one of your projects

I made this cardigan about 3 years ago ..in the exact same colors but it was too long for me…I’m only 5ft 3in..I’m going to make three more and gift to my sisters but this time I will make sure the length is not too long..thank you for this very beautiful pattern ❤
Hi Nadia & Fuad, I used your video to make my version of the GG Cardigan! I must say it's turned out really nice! All I have left to do is to add the button holes and buttons! I will go to your FB page and post a picture when it's all done! I've always wanted to make this for myself, but this one is a gift for a friend. She really likes colors so I made this one for her with jewel toned squares with a black base; also I only used 'regular' granny squares. I think it turned out great, for my first try! Thanks for your videos and explaining everything so well! I have a few more projects (gifts) to make the now through February, but I'm looking forward to making a GG cardigan for myself soon! I started crocheting this cardigan on August 30, 2018. Two days later I had made nine granny squares. I plan to finish my cardigan before the end of September. ok...started on the squares randomly have a bunch finished. Ended up with shades of green and black. Loving the colors. From what I see I need 60 squares in all, apart from that gorgeous matching scarf. Thank you so much for this tutorial. It was very well made.

Hello, I have made my jacket using various shades of blue and loads of people have said how nice it is. I made a scarf from the square and put pockets on it, together with a hat. Thank you so much really understood your video well and great explanations. I am fairly new to crochet and this is the first garment I have made.

I was wondering why my blocks were turning out wrong. The written instructions show 1 less stitch per cluster than the video.

Looks like alot of work!, I got asked by my cousin on one of these, and I checked on price for one, and she's glad i checked on it, i explained all the time, color change , weavining ends, sewing, knowledge and skill and time she understands why its that much . BUT it makes me want to make one for my mom or myself
When I make a project, whether it’s a sweater or scarf, I usually try to make one or two granny’s from it when I’m done. I like to save those either as a beginning cardigan or blanket, or, if I have enough, a complete cardigan. It’s always so wonderful to mix and match match them. This is lovely. I may break out and try the this granny, but I think I’d like a Country blue background. Thanks Fuad!!

Thank you so much for this tutorial. You are such a good "teacher". I have just completed my cardigan/jacket and it looks absolutely lovely! It is a bit big, but I can live with it. I didn't use your granny square pattern, I used my simple granny square pattern, which looks just as nice. I made the cuffs of the sleevs tighter; the slits not as high and I tacked the collar down all the way. Just need to put buttons on and I will post a photograph. Thank you again, and please thank your Dad too.

Well since I comment on here years ago I am making my third one it is a long process the longest thing I think is making all those squares but once you finish and put it together it is well worth it so again I do appreciate your time and your patience and this one I am doing in purple with multi colors and I am working on this jacket as I am texting you Atlanta Georgia

I finally made my sweater 😅. My very first sweater everrrrr 😁 my daughter and I couldn’t stop laughing because it came out sooo big! But we love it and we call it our couch cover sweater.

I am beyond excited!!! I am new to the crochet world and it's videos like yours with great instructions that gives me hope that I can make this also.... I am done all the squares and have the back sewn together and I really like the outcome... I didn't use the colors you chose, I am using solid color Granny's 15 different colors of the rainbow with white trim... It's gonna look amazing!! It already is looking great... Just finished mine. Thanks so much for the instruction. It came out a little bigger than needed, even using 6x6 squares, I hook. I put the buttons in one square, rather than the edge, to take up some of the bulk. Its been fun.
Hi! What size are you? I’m using a 4,5mm hook and the squares are still 6 inches lol. I’m going to try a 4mm hook..but I just want to have an idea of what size it would be with 6 inch squares.
