On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

I'd be fascinated to also watch you fly the SU-57, maybe with a wingman and a couple SU-35s in area for back-up and to help scan for trouble, against the B-21 and F-22, just to see how much is the pilot and how much is the plane. Would be neat if you could fly the SU-75 from the cockpit of the SU-57, but I guess DCS isn't quite there yet...
Also, you should bear in mind that the S-400 radars, NEBO-M and the like, are almost certainly networked with the Russian jets, so I would imagine they have can use datalink from those radars like we use datalink from an AWACS. Only makes sense, sense the radars themselves are all networked together.

Great scenario. The funny part is that B-21 crew was probably shouting at you to get away from them the whole trip in. Flying close formation with it probably tripled your RCS.

Love the B-21, it's basically an affordable B-2 but with upgraded avionics and stealth. I'd preferred they built 200 instead of the 100 slated.
They are replacing the B-1's and B-2's in the USAF inventory. Currently there are 62 B-1's and 20 B-2's, for a total of 82 bombers. The 100 B-21's means we end up with more than we had, so that's a good deal.
I really like these types of videos, would love to see more of them going forward.

I think the f22 missions are way better. It’s super sneaky and easily gets out of harms way. Fat Amy doesn’t stand a chance in air to air combat.

as usual ,the F-22 is utterly disrespectful with how OP it is.
I think the issue is with the stealth engine of DCS.
No matter what you say no radar can miss a target at 500 meters
@ibum4908 I also kinda realized the cruise missles completely got through a Russian IADS without any problem basically. Kinda odd, Pantsirs definitely should've not let that happen as a final defense.
@@ibum4908 Also the F22's stealth is only most effective at frontal aspect and equal altitude, because it is shaped to reflect radar waves away. I dont think DCS can simulate different stealth aspects. For example when GS turns to notch, he is exposing the flat fuselage of the f22 which would have a much larger RCS. Same with missiles that are shot from a side aspect, the s300/400 should have had no problem tracking because the side aspect of the raptor has a much larger RCS. This is the same for any stealth aircraft.
However it seems that in DCS there is a general RCS reduction with a flat value, which is why it makes missiles miss even when fired at very close range and at non-stealthy aspects.
@racket804 let's hope DCS isn't using the 0.0000000001 meter square rcs value of the Raptor from god knows what angle and factors lol
@@ibum4908 their engine uses a set stealth from all angles which is the frontal stealth, The felons stealth is modeled off prototypes which dosnt make it accurate as well

I figure stealth aircraft have some electronic mode for when they want to be seen, such as when flying in civil airspace. But opening the canopy and yelling "Nyaah nyaah!" would probably work too.

How is something built in the 90’s still dominating the sky today with the explosions of technology since then? I know the Raptor has been updated over the years, but it still blows my mind that it has remained king all of these years and into the foreseeable future. A true masterpiece

i love the calm but menacing aesthetic of a B-21 dropping munitions. no dancing, no maneuvers to account for the target or anything at all, just opens the door, pre-packaged death drops out of it, then closes the door and continues t-posing in the air while the missiles quietly go to work. i love that you can also hear the panic on the ground, the desperate sirens as the enemy goes for emergency protocols knowing there's absolutely nothing they can do, while the B-21 just slowly turns around and heads home. fighters are cool but stealth bombers are what true air superiority looks like. nothing communicates utter disrespect and the notion of "i am better than you and we both know it" more than not even reacting to the enemy because you don't have to.
