This is a really great lesson. Rocksmith in general has not taught or emphasized strum patterns, which are an extremely important part of rhythm guitar playing. I've always that a video that covers key elements of a song should be part of the Rocksmith program.

Why does the tremolo tone from boulevard of broken dreams sound terrible? Did you guys even bother to check before releasing the song?

Hi, thanks for letting us know that you think there might be a problem with this tone. We'll have our team take another look at all the tones from "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", but don't forget that you can report it in Rocksmith+ as well. When you finish a song or exit it early, you'll see an icon with a speech bubble & a "!" which you can click to report various issues to the team. One of the options is "Instrument tone doesn't sound right" and that will also raise the issue to the team to look at all the tones in a song. We'll be able to update the song to fix any issues including changing tones or even transcriptions.
