I’ve watched this video for nearly 13 years now. It still puts a smile on my face and makes me tear up at the end with that final thumbs up. 👍🏻 #lvstbig therapist for LIFE! Thank you Anders for inspiring me when I was just beginning to learn who I wanted to serve as a physical therapist. I hope you are well
I'm physical therapist and since 2 month LSVT BIG certified therapist. I really like your video and recommend it to all PD persons who are interest in LSVT BIG, especially for those in your age! Your video helps because of your personal story!!! Annette
To my dear friend Anders. Firstly I have to say that it’s very saddening news to hear that you have got this decease. Despite that, I find it extremely encouraging to see and hear that you have so much fight in you. Even after having discovered that you have Parkinson’s, you still manage to see the positive things in life, and you take time to make this very inspirational film showing other people that there are ways to cope with the decease. You are truely my inspiration :) Heidi S. Heidi
I came upon your update videos as I was searching for LSVT BIG exercises for my occupational therapy coursework. Thank you for sharing your experience and continued health and wellness to you!
Wonderful video. Thank-you for posting. I will show this to my dad who has Parkinson's Disease. I'm hoping this will inspire him to try this form of exercise. Karyn B
Thank you for making this video. I have asked my neuro twice about this program, and both times he has said, you don't need it, YET. Next visit, I am going to TELL him that I want to go. I deal with my PD thru laughter.
Anders, thank you for your video and for sharing your experience with Think BIG. I'm looking for more information re the program for my father who has Parkinsons too. Im showing him your video. He is 74 and very disciplined with his exercises. Hope you are well. Thank you again for sharing. Manu.
Hello Anders...my wonderful nuerologist and his assistant suggested this to me today. I am so looking forward to BIG. I am hoping this may be exactly what I need. I have tried so many other things only to feel defeated. Thank You for sharing!
hopefully the VA will help in this program . Motion.....looks and sounds good.......I'd even like to go to Norway.....but will settle for here in Alabama.......smilin.
You are absolutely right. What a PD person percives as big movements may not be very big at all, like with their voice. LSVT BIG is supposed to help you maintain the speed and amplitude of your movements, and also make you more aware of the slow, negative changes in how you move. You train to do the opposite of what your body wants.
Hi Anders, thank you for this great video. Everytime I watch it, I'm more motivated to help my patients to work with LSVT-Big. I am occupational therapist, may I link your video on my homepage?
Anders I just wanted to say thanks I started using the text makes on this video today with a patient with Parkinson's disease and it was really awesome thanks will say that I did have to keep close eye on him and the system to prevent calls but it was really really cool and I hope I get to learn how to do it someday soon thanks.
I am a Massage therapist with a PD patient who has just started this program and has felt significant results. I have seen the difference in the tonicity of her muscles and am so excited to hear about these techniques that I will be sharing this with my Massage Students at the college. It is inspiring to see effective therapy for this frustrating disease. I am motivated to learn more so I can educate more!! thank you all for sharing your comments.
I recently (2yrs ago) was diagnosed with Parkinson's. While it has mostly affected my speach however I did participate in an LSVT big program and that was when I was introduced to your videos. Now I do the LSVT BIG on a daily basis and I feel pretty good. How are you doing?
Thank you Anders, this was very inspiring! I have had Parkinson´s since 2005, (diagnosed that year, but felt something was wrong as early as 2002). I am still quite young and have few obvious symptoms campared to many others I have met. I hope to start working with this program soon. Any good advice who to contact or how to start? Reidar S
Dear Anders, 10 month ago, two neologists said and confirm that I started PARKINSON I use one hour Kinesitherapy a week,, two hours Qi Gonq a week and 40mn my own training per day. Yours faithfully, André Kinsman - France
Every day is great ! You are serious about this ! I´m not as systematic as you are unfortunately. I stay active and do BIG a lot, but not every day, no. Do you have any other advice in putting the brakes on parkinson´s ? Diet ?
I am a patient myself. For information on prices and who it is for, see lsvtglobal for a list of therapists. Age is not a problem. It´s the condition you´re in that could mean other measures are better. Anders

Can I get a rough idea of how much a program like this could cost a patient? Is there a general range of prices you could give?
