It would be good to know what the major stores once were. At 2:46, the red doors were probably TARGET. I can't find anything on the web about what the stores were when they first opened with anchors
Eaton's department store was built at the North end of the mall in the late 1980s, after the movie theatre was removed. When Eaton's closed, the area was converted to office space for Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance Co. The space is currently vacant.
The first shopping mall opened in Australia in 1964, it is still operating. When I was young it sold everything I needed now, some 60 years later it sells nothing I need. I have more disposable income now than at any time in my life. I have monitored the changes which occurred over time, but I advance no reasons as to why it is failing……….except to say that it now has about 150 women’s clothes outlets and 50 coffee shops. All the interesting shops are gone and the things which are sold can be bought at hundreds of other identical shopping locations.. the major anchor tenants are fleeing as they outlive their usefulness also. It would to nice to get a little more information about this mall. It’s still very sad to see this mall

Saturdays alone not paying the bills.
